TEMPTATION IN THE WILDERNESS

"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."

ISAIAH 43:19

Elise climbed to a sturdy branch of a massive tree, taking in the peaceful, picturesque scenery. The sight of a distant waterfall, the majestic rock formations, and the towering trees that served as a sanctuary for wildlife brought her serenity. Birds sang sweetly in the branches, and various creatures frolicked in the lush forest.

Elise removed her coverings, allowing the fresh forest air to embrace her skin. As she did so, she noticed a massive lion waiting below, its patience wearing thin. Elise quickly grabbed her bow and arrow, keeping her eyes on the king of the jungle.

The lion, determined to attack, leaped into the air towards Elise. Suddenly, a sword struck the beast, causing it to fall to the ground, blood pouring from its wound.
