Mimi scanned the course outline with a severe look on her face. She had just gotten admission into Senior High School and had to choose one of the many options available. Mimi was a lovely girl with black curly hair, brown eyes that one could not help but stare at, and Choco brown skin that gave off the feel of the finest chocolate. Her curvy-shaped yet slightly plum petit physique made her whole personality look adorable.
"Mimi, have you decided which one you prefer yet?" Fei asked her. Since meeting at the school's hostel, Fei has been Mimi's best friend. They lived next door to each other and went to the same school. They shared everything: secrets, hobbies, and dreams. They were inseparable.
"I have, but I'm not sure," Mimi said. "They all look appealing and seem interesting to pursue considering the job outline they carry."
"I know. Even though they are all great courses, we still have to select one," Fei said.
"That's unfair and cruel. Why must I choose when I can pursue both?" Mimi complained.
"Choose one, Arts or Science; which one do you prefer more than the other?" Fei urged her.
"Okay, fine, I'll go with Arts then," Mimi said.
"Which general art class did you pick then?" Fei asked.
"Don't make it a whiny decision this time," Fei added.
"Okay! Okay! I won't. I just... Arts, one or three, seems daring but Elective mathematics... Hmm, math is a painful headache; how much more Elective math? So, I think I'll settle with general Arts three," Mimi said.
"Oh! It seems we are going to be in the same class. It perfectly aligns with my career choice," Fei said happily.
"But it's a real drag that we didn't get the boarding house," Mimi said sadly.
"I guess it's for the best, and we will surely make the best of it," Fei said optimistically.
"Yeah, you're right. At least on the brighter side, we get to experience the hostel life," Mimi said.
Mimi and Fei continued settling in their surroundings and socializing with fellow age mates and peers. The whole day was spent with fun, cordial and boisterous energy. Forming new clicks and joining clubs and circles of different kinds and agendas. This was just a temporary end to the new beginning of Mimi's adventurous life in this Senior year of school.
