Chapter 43

Months went by. Ghuine has awoken another morning. He jumped out of bed and went to the kitchen to prepare his nanny's breakfast before joining his family for breakfast.

He was silent and didn't say anything during the morning meal. He only participated in the discourse when he was asked to.

Rain guessed, beaming with excitement, "It's about the cooking competition, isn't it, father?"

"It certainly is," he said with a smile.

"I was considering joining because of the prize. The only issue I have is that the competition will be conducted in pairs."

"Well, in that case, have Ghuine join you!" the mother exclaimed, startling the boy. "You can rely on your brother."
