First Encounter
The carriage was torn apart by the sharp blade of the masked lady.
"Yee... the Ye family yelp in pain as they were flew out of the carriage and landed on the floor. As Ye Xing tried to get up she felt a sharp pain on her neck, In the next second she was already standing on a high tree and noticed a black figure behind her helding the sword firmly on her neck.
"Mom help me, Ye Xing said as she winced in pain.
"Master, please save our daughter. Ye Xing father said as they noticed Yan yue and Li Fu standing at the scene.
"Lord Qi, do you still want to continue chasing after me or I should kill this lady. The masked lady said waiting for Yan Yue to answer.
"Please help me sir, Ye Xing said looking deep into Yan Yue cold eyes through his scary mask. Please save our daughter, the Ye family said as they bow to Yan Yue.
"Master...Li Fu said before he was cut off by Yan Yue answer.
"Kill her, how is that my business. Yan Yue said coldly.
"As expected, it is said that Lord Qi is cruel and don't care about people lives. The masked lady said.
"Do you care? Yan Yue asked.
"Please master, please save her we will pay any price. Don't let this evil lady kill her, the Ye family said as they bow repeatedly in front of Yan Yue.
"Yeee... The masked lady screamed as her hand was bitten by Ye Xing.
"Go die. The masked lady said as she pushes Ye Xing off the tree with force. In a second Li Fu and Yan Yue already fly towards them, As Li Fu went to take the lady down while Yan Yue catches Ye Xing by the waist who is falling from the tree, his long and slender hand tightened on her waist. Ye Xing was lost in those mesmerising brown eye as she look at him through the mask.
"Xing'er, are you okay her mother asked as she was lost in thought. 'Sister, Ye Shu called out his sister name who continue looking at Yan Yue.
"Ah,Ye Xing said when she finally snap out of her daze. 'Are you okay? Her mother asked.
"Yes I am okay. Ye Xing said
Li Fu came closer with the lady and remove her veil.
"Master,what should I do with her? Li Fu ask directing to the masked lady.
"Take her back to the mansion, Yan Yue said then was about to take his leave before a soothing voice sounded behind him.
"Mister, Thank you for helping me earlier, Ye Xing said looking straight into is cold eyes. Yan Yue didn't reply and left, leaving Ye Xing with a puzzled expression.
"Let's go, Her mother said to her.
"How do we reach the palace, Ye Xing asked.
"We will walk there, am sure that it is not far anymore. Ye Xing father said assuring them.
"Okay, Ye Xing said.
In Ji Palace,
"Check all the candidate, then they should move to the palace after inspection, Li Momo said as she stands upright looking at the young ladies of other state being checked.
All the princes are all seated in the palace with the emperor and empress.
"Where are all the ladies, the emperor asked his eunuch.
"They will come in after inspection. The eunuch explained.
"Where is Yan Yue? The emperor asked.
"I am here, Yan Yue said as he comes in. His handsome figure was shown as a strand of hair was remove on each side while the rest were packed perfectly. He wore a plain white blue garment dress which made him looks like a male model. A pair of crescent shaped eyebrows look down on his sweeping eyelashes. He bow to greet his father.
"Greeting to father, Yan Yue said as he greet his father.
"Rise, I heard you were sick, how is your health now. Emperor asked.
"Thanks for your concern father, I am now well. Yan Yue replied as he cough slightly.
"Mao yi, the emperor called out to the eunuch. Give the pill to yu'er. This is a relieve pill it could give you more energy and ease you, Emperor explained.
"Thank you father, Yan Yue said as he collected the pill.
"Okay, have your sit. Emperor said.
"Here comes the ladies, the eunuch said.
"Let's start the test, the empress said before hearing a noise outside. The emperor asked the eunuch to take a look at outside.
"I am here, sorry I am late. Ye Xing said to Li Momo as she was about to enter but was stopped by her.

"Am part of the contestants sorry am late. Ye Xing explained.
