Eris and Zephyrus went down into the lower part of Eris cottage, the basement. "This looks like you are going to kill me," Zephyrus stammered in fear.
"Stop being such a coward; I won't." Eris rolled her eyes as she mumbled, "for now, that is."
"I HEARD that," Zephyrus yelled at Eris as they went down the stairs. The two walked down the hollow hallway and then reached their destination. It was quite a spacious space, with books all over the room, and at the center of it was a magic circle.
"So what now?" Zephyrus asked. Well, just stand in the middle of the transmutation circle," Eris directed Zephyrus. Zephyrus followed Eris' lead and soon found herself standing awkwardly in the middle of the circle. 'Damn, I don't know what's more awkward: me standing here or Eris lighting up candles looking like a cultist," Zephyrus thought to herself.
"I'll start now, and I'll be ready when you are," Eris cautioned, and Zephyrus nodded in response, "Okay then - θα έχεις το φτερό σου νεράιδα γιατί είσαι άχρηστος χωρίς αυτά"
As Eris starts chanting, the lines light up and emit a golden glow, and soon Zephyrus figures are bombarded with light and glitter. It lasted for a few seconds when it cleared up, and we saw Zephyrus standing with one wing behind her back.
"This." Zephyrus touched her wing and let it flutter. She felt immense joy just seeing it again. "Thank you, thank you, ERIS; even if you were the first to take my wing, thank you," Zephyrus jokes.
HUH, WHAT DID YOU SAY, MOTHERFA- " Eris was interrupted as Zephyrus continued to hug her to the point she felt lightheaded. "I can't breathe," Eris gasped.
Seeing that she almost killed Eris, Zephyrus released her hold on her and apologized rather sheepishly. "Oh sorry"
Eris glared at Zephyrus, looking at her like she was an enemy. "Oh, CMON, I SAID I'M SORRY, I WAS JUST TOO HAPPY." Zephyrus waved her hands, trying to show her innocence. "Yeah, right, you brat; you better be sorry or else," Eris snarled.
"Hey, I'm 667 YEARS old." "Well, I know for a fact that fairies reach adulthood at the age of 800, so YOU ARE A BRAT," Eris rebuked.
Zephyrus was speechless and, in the end, raised a white flag and surrendered, saying, "Okay, I won't fight."
"Heh, that's what I thought," Eris smirked. The two continued to annoy each other for the rest of the afternoon, and soon it became night and time for Zephyrus to leave.
----> TIME SKIP <----
"I guess this is goodbye for now," Eris said. Yup, but I'll be back for my other wing, so It won't be too long," Zephyrus replied confidently.
Eris narrowed her eyes but then sighed, saying, "I'll trust you on that good luck; I hope you'll succeed."
"AWWW SO YOU DO CARE ABOUT ME, ERIS~~~" Zephyrus gushed like a girl in love.
"Urgk!" Eris sighed and glared at Zephyrus. "Shut up, I'm not; if you become one of my stone figures, you'll be ugly as hell.
Zephyrus popped a vein as she heard Eris reply but prepared herself to say her farewell. "Goodbye then, Eris." "See you soon, Zephyrus."
Zephyrus left Eris cottage, waving at her to say goodbye.
