"You already know, Rina," Victor's voice cut through the air like a sharp blade, laced with a cruel indifference that sent shivers down my spine, 
"I won't love you, no matter what you do. No matter how many times you beg, nothing will happen!
You knew from the beginning that Helena was the girl I loved!! "

His words, laced with disdain, were like a devastating blow to my heart. 

Each syllable was a reminder of the love I had lost, a love that had once burned brightly but was now extinguished, replaced by an icy void.

Victor continued, his tone unrelenting,

"I'll take care of giving you money, no matter how much, but please don't bother me and Helena anymore," he added.

Rina looked at Venedict, hearing the complaint in his voice.

She observed his annoyed expression and couldn't help but hold back her laughter.

"Mommy, don't laugh at me. I'm serious!" Venedict added.

Trying her best not to laugh at him, she noticed that Venedict was about to remove the wig he was wearing, so she immediately stopped him.

"Wait, dear, don't take it off. Someone might recognize you if you remove that wig," she said, then glanced around them.

They were currently on their way to Victor's condo unit because she was worried about Venedict's dream about Venice.

She thought that maybe Venedict missed Venice a lot and had gotten too used to always being with her, so she decided to take him to visit.

But before leaving, she dressed him in a girl's wig and a cute little dress, making him look like an adorable little girl, which she couldn't help but find endearing.
