Rina fell silent at Daniel's words. She didn't remember the story he was talking about. Besides, she was too young at the time to recall much about her interactions with him, and most of her memories of Daniel had been overshadowed by painful memories with Victor.

"I don't remember saying that to you when we were kids. Even if I did, it doesn't mean it was meant to happen," Rina said coldly.

"I don't want to marry you because from the very beginning, it was Victor I chose, not you, and it will never be you. That memory is too old and distant to hold onto. I love Victor, and that won't change anything." Rina said firmly.

Daniel paused before slowly smirking.
