Chapter 13: Dare to bully my brother and sister?

"What are you saying?!" Xiaowu was not someone who ran away from confrontation. She stood her ground when faced with taunts.

"Hey, we have such a beautiful little girl among the working students? Brothers, come down and take a look; maybe we can make some exciting plans!" The sound of Xiaowu's voice reached the male students on the second floor, and they instantly perked up. They descended like bees drawn to nectar.

"I told you, you bunch of paupers can't even dream of dining on the second floor in your lifetimes. What's the matter, little sister? Feeling down?" mocked an older male student, appearing to be around eleven or twelve years old, with an air of superiority.

"It's not about the second floor; we can't afford it," Wang Sheng replied, clenching his fists, his anger contained.

"The second floor is for nobles, and even the cheapest meal there costs more than our monthly salary," he whispered, acknowledging the stark class divide between them and the students who frequented the second floor.

"Humph! We're not interested anyway," Xiaowu retorted with a defiant snort.

"Wow, this little loli still has some spirit left! But,little girl did you know you're dining with peasants who can barely afford pig feed on the first floor?" another male student chimed in, continuing to ridicule them.

"Speaking of pig feed, it suits these part-time students. Our pigs feast on the finest herbs. Can these paupers say the same?" an overweight student beside the first one laughed heartily.

Wang Sheng clenched his teeth but maintained his composure. He had experienced clashes with noble students during his years as a working student but had refrained from provoking a confrontation, believing the time was not yet ripe.

"You scum, dare to say we eat pig feed!" Xiaowu couldn't bear their taunts and was ready to confront the male students.

Tang San intervened, grasping Xiaowu's arm and signaling her to calm down. In the Tang Clan, there was a saying: if you can avoid a confrontation, avoid it as much as possible. However, if an adversary was recognized as an enemy, eliminate them swiftly without hesitation.

"Why are you so fearful?" Xiaowu challenged Tang San's caution.

"Oh my, I'm getting excited. This little loli is gorgeous even when she's angry. Give her a few more years, and she'll be stunning!" the obese male student exclaimed, his eyes fixed on Xiaowu with lecherous intent.

"Come on, this little loli belongs to me!" Another boy elbowed the fat one aside, striding confidently toward them.

"Wang Sheng, what should we do?" the teenager asked Wang Sheng, grinning provocatively.

"Pi Feng, what game are you playing now?" Wang Sheng asked warily, sensing something amiss.

"What games could I possibly play with such a simple-minded person like you? Just hand over the little loli, and we'll give you a second-floor VIP card. You can dine on the second floor for at least a month. How about it?" Pi Feng proposed, wearing a self-satisfied smile and sizing up Xiaowu provocatively.

"You!" Wang Sheng seethed with anger, pointing accusingly at Pi Feng. The blatant humiliation of his group of working students was unforgivable!

"What do you think? The Notting College second-floor cafeteria is renowned as the top gourmet restaurant in Notting City. It's hundreds of times better than the pig feed you've been eating on the first floor. Have you even tasted such delicacies from your backwater hometown? I guarantee you'll remember the taste forever after you've tried it," Pi Feng taunted, seemingly enjoying the situation immensely.

Unbeknownst to Pi Feng, during this time, a wrist moved discreetly, and a quiver filled with venomous darts was silently aimed at his forehead. Tang San, as a fellow working student, couldn't stand idly by while his peers were bullied, especially not when the humiliation turned obscene. These students had now been classified as adversaries, and Tang San was prepared to take action if they crossed the line.

Just then, a voice from the entrance disrupted the tense situation. Two boys, one small and one large, entered the cafeteria.

"Why is there such a commotion? Someone invited us to dinner, and you're refusing? I don't understand you people.

"Brother Feng, it's not just an ordinary commotion. They insulted the little sister!" Wang Sheng explained quickly when he saw Qin Feng.

"Oh?" Qin Feng's movements suddenly accelerated, and in the next second, a golden card appeared in his hand. He wore a sly grin as he looked at Pi Feng.

Tang San and Xiao Wu reacted as though they had received an electric shock when Qin Feng suddenly held their hands.

"B-brother, Feng brother, don't get me wrong. I just wanted to prevent Xiao Wu from acting impulsively, so I held her hand," Tang San stammered, his face flushed with embarrassment. Xiao Wu also blushed, unable to explain the inexplicable sense of security she felt when near Qin Feng, which had strangely calmed her previously impetuous heart.

"You little brat, you dare to touch the VIP card! Hand it over right now!!!" Pi Feng demanded, clearly bewildered. The VIP card for the second floor had vanished in an instant. Before he could react, the card was now in the hands of a young boy who seemed clueless about what to do.

"Snapped!" Qin Feng strode towards Pi Feng, ascending a single stair to match his height before delivering a swift, loud slap across his face.

A stunned hush fell over the once-noisy cafeteria. No one could fathom what had driven this young boy to take such action. The crisp sound of the slap left a bright, red handprint on Pi Feng's otherwise tender skin.

"His!!" Nearly everyone present gasped in shock. Wang Sheng and his fellow working students felt a shiver down their spines, their backs drenched in cold sweat. Pi Feng was the son of the General of Notting City, a highly regarded figure with an esteemed background, and a well-known figure among the students of Notting Junior Soul Master Academy. This was bound to have consequences!

Qin Feng, on the other hand, had just openly slapped someone of such status. It was as if he was inviting trouble with open arms!
