Chapter 15: Little white face cut into pig head

When the bug saw these toxins, it was like inviting a pig into the kitchen to feast! Qin Feng's mind was bombarded by the worm's insatiable appetite. This strange sensation sent shivers down his spine.

Although the bug looked repulsive, its efficiency was astonishing. It swiftly neutralized all the toxins in Qin Feng's body, and his limbs wriggled as he let out a relieved sigh.

"This strange insect actually has this effect?" Qin Feng marveled once he was back to normal. Just moments ago, he had thought he was done for.

"It's been a minute, how come you haven't died yet?" Qin Feng pushed away Wang Sheng and Xiaowu, a wry grin forming as he yelled towards the ongoing battle with Pi Feng.

"Brother Feng?" Black vines enveloped Pi Feng, and despite Tang San's numerous attempts, he couldn't break through the defenses. The concealed blade remained unused due to the vexing vines.

Hidden weapons were meant to silently take lives, and their display without absolute certainty only alerted opponents. Tang San refrained from using them because the vines were too disruptive.

"If the other side hadn't summoned the Martial Soul earlier, Tang San hoped to eliminate him," Tang San thought.

"Brother Feng? Are you okay?!" Tang San retreated and rushed to Qin Feng's side, gazing at him with incredulity.

Xiaowu and Wang Sheng shared in the astonishment. How had Qin Feng, who seemed on the brink of death moments ago, suddenly experienced such a miraculous recovery?

But the most puzzled individual was Pi Feng himself. His brow furrowed deeply as he assessed the situation.

As a poison master, he had recognized that Qin Feng had completely purged the toxin. But as someone skilled in poison, he also understood how potent his venom was. Detoxifying it without creating a specific antidote, often involving his own blood, was impossible.

"Why,are you doubting the abilities of your Brother?" Qin Feng quipped.

"No, no," Tang San quickly replied, his voice trembling like a pair of hanging stones sinking. He couldn't imagine explaining to his father if Brother Feng had truly met with an accident. Fortunately, Brother Feng seemed to possess some kind of magic.

Meanwhile, Xiao Wu twirled around Qin Feng, her big, adorable eyes filled with curiosity.

"Just a moment ago, the poison was so severe. How did you suddenly recover like that?" Xiao Wu mused, playfully tapping her forehead.

Qin Feng wore a cryptic smile and didn't offer an explanation. He suspected that it might have been the influence of Xiao Wu's hundred-thousand-year-old soul beast power that had affected the bug, prompting it to voraciously devour the toxins in his body.

Of course, there might be other reasons, but Qin Feng wasn't inclined to explore them at the moment. His focus was on the individual who had almost killed him.

With a determined glint in his eyes, Qin Feng retrieved his large hammer and advanced towards Pi Feng. Any attack Pi Feng unleashed was effortlessly thwarted by Qin Feng's powerful strikes.

As Pi Feng observed Qin Feng approaching like a relentless demon, it felt as though invisible hands were tightening around his neck.

"You, don't come any closer!" Pi Feng pointed at Qin Feng, his voice shaking, and the air of dominance he'd had moments ago had evaporated entirely. His most potent poison had been neutralized by this kid, leaving him powerless. Even his attempt to trap the kid with vines had been met with failure.

"I'm a fair person. I'll let you pay for your deeds," Qin Feng declared, as if an invisible hand guided his movements, swinging his hammer with precision, delivering five consecutive controlled blows. He aimed not to harm Pi Feng severely but to make him feel the pain.

There was a limit to everything. After all, they were work-study students, kids from modest backgrounds. Actually killing someone would be more trouble than it was worth. However, if the other party was actively provoking, Qin Feng wouldn't hesitate.

On one side, you had the young heir of the Blue Electric Tyrannosaurus Rex, and on the other, Tang Hao, who wouldn't hesitate to strike even against the Martial Soul Temple. Who would dare harm them?

"Xiaofeng, that's enough," a voice suddenly echoed from outside the door.

Qin Feng halted his actions upon seeing the newcomer. Tang San greeted the man with respect. The mentor-apprentice relationship held deep significance for the Tang Clan.

"What's going on here?" Master scolded them sternly.

"Teacher, they were just mocking our work-study students, and Brother Feng and I couldn't stand it," Tang San quickly interjected before Qin Feng could respond.

"Don't cause trouble at Notting College. Come to my office after dinner," Master said, his tone firm.

"Understood!" Qin Feng and Tang San sighed in relief. They had almost feared the master would reprimand them even more.

"I'm off to dinner. Would you two like to join me?" The master inquired as he climbed the stairs.

"We'll just eat with everyone," Qin Feng and Tang San declined.

"Alright then" the master said with a hint of disappointment. He had considered taking both of them as disciples, but it seemed that Qin Feng didn't share the same enthusiasm.

"I'll give you three seconds to disappear from my sight," Qin Feng threatened Pi Feng as he held the cold hammer up to his face, making him look like a mess.

Upon hearing this ultimatum, several noble children rushed forward. Seizing the opportunity to gain favor with the person who had essentially saved their lives was too tempting to resist.

Pi Feng was visibly relieved when he saw people rushing to help him. Now he could barely stand, and disappearing within three seconds was an impossibility. But if he didn't leave, he was convinced this madman would use the hammer again.

...

"Brother Feng, that was amazing!" Wang Sheng and the others watched Pi Feng's retreat with newfound respect for Qin Feng. The rift between work-study students and noble children had existed since the beginning, with the former often enduring bullying. Today, thanks to Qin Feng, the work-study students had finally struck back, and they were grateful.

For a moment, Qin Feng found himself enthusiastically embraced by the work-study crowd.

"Do you want to head to the second floor to eat?" Qin Feng inquired, brandishing his card.

"We will follow you!" The dozen-strong group responded in unison, particularly the young Xiaowu, whose wide eyes were fixed on him with deep admiration.
