Valentino unlocked his car door on my side, and I got out, accepting the hand he had graciously extended to assist me. Standing next to him, I smiled and muttered a nice thank-you as he helped out and closed the door.

We embraced, with him planting a quick kiss on my forehead, then strolled along the road that led to the picturesque lakefront pier.

On the pathway we were traveling on, rose petals were creatively spread, and there were lanterns in the shape of colorful hearts hanging from tree branches. Twinkle lights in the shape of stars were strung along the pathway and wrapped around branches. It was incredibly lovely.

With the lake's water shimmering beneath the gorgeous sky and appearing serene and welcoming, the sunset was truly magnificent.
