The Plan

Marcus gets up and walks out; he smiles at her as he closes and locks the door. He has a plan; he will tell Jace first, though, turning Jace is standing there, waiting for him.

"What the fuck was that?" Marcus shakes his head, not wanting to argue, she needs to feel safe with him for his plan to work.

"Remember that night at the club? When Cain was talking about Avalyn's past, how he was disgusted by her?" Jace nods, clearly still not getting where Marcus is going with this. His head suddenly shakes as he realises.

"Wait, you're still trying to get that? Marcus, we don't have time for games. If you want a play toy go find one." Marcus shakes his head; he has found his play toy; she just needs to agree to it. Jace stares at him, shocked. "You're serious, aren't you? So what you put shackles on her and tell her to drive the getaway car?" Jace laughs pacing backwards and forwards, to him, it is an easy decision, she dies, and it's finished with. They then create a new plan to get what is owed.

"No. I was thinking of dumping her back with him; she gets us the information we need and passes it on to us." Jace looks at him and laughs.

"Slight problem there Marcus, he hates her. He said so himself; we would save him a job if he killed her so, she would end up dead anyway." Marcus shakes his head at Jace; he is so against this. With the help, he has now he can do anything, and it will work. Things are already in motion, he also can't back out now.

"See, it isn't that simple. Can we talk, before you throw out my idea before I even give you all the details?" Jace looks around; he can listen to the plan; but it doesn't mean he needs to agree.

"Fine, but this fucks up Marcus, I will tell Cain exactly where you are." Marcus nods, he won't need to.

"Right come on then." Marcus opens the door, Jace looking confused, he wants to tell her the plan now. Giving in he walks into the room, Avalyn looking at them confused.

"Look, I have an idea." Marcus sits down and looks at them.

"Before you married Cain, you were a slave right, with a Master?" Avalyn nods smiling, remembering those moments, it was the feel of the rope around her wrists that plunged her dreams into visions of the past.

"How much do you want to repay Cain for what he has done?" She looks at him confused, not understanding what the two have to do with each other.

"I become your Master Avalyn, I help you get back in with Cain, you give us information, and we take everything, his house, everything." Avalyn and Jace stare at him shocked.

"I don't think I can do that; surely, he will know I know about him?" Avalyn can't see it working and neither can Jace.

"No, we never told him we told you. We dump you on his doorstep; you give him a story about how we wore masks, they didn't say why they took you. You go back in upset crying, the damsel in distress." Avalyn still can't see it working, why would he keep her around? He has someone else.

"He won't get rid of you quick. I have a letter on the way to your address, let's say a long-lost uncle of yours has passed. He has left quite the equity to you. However you have to do a couple of weeks or months trial, or course, I don't know to get it." Avalyn nods now listening, even Jace moving to the edge of his seat.

"The money will be too much for him to pass up. He will keep you around until that money hits your bank. That gives you time to get all the information you need. You will be sent contracts a few times a week, all saying the same thing, he will need to sign as well to say you are committed." If the plan works, Cain will think he is getting money, something he sees as most valuable in life.

"I like where this is going." Jace looks at Marcus. "Why get what we are owed when we can take him down."

"After signing 3 or 4, he will be bored of re-reading. When he stops reading, we start changing the contents, so he is signing over parts of his shares, house and everything to you." Marcus smiles his plan is flawless.

"What, why the fuck in her name. It should come to us." Marcus turns to Jace, who clearly now hates the plan again. Avalyn looks at him shocked; she won't take the house. Sure it will be in her name, but she won't sell it and have Cain left with nothing.

"She is his wife, no bank or lawyer will question it. Our names, people will question, hers they will just assume he is moving accounts." Avalyn looks at Marcus; she could take it all, leave and take everything. Forget these two idiots, she considers it, she could get away from all of them, yet she looks at Marcus, and she doesn't want to. She smiles thinking about it, a life of crime, but as his slave, she smiles more.

"I will do it." Jace looks at her, shocked, maybe it is a fact she has missed being a slave so much she is agreeing? Possibly it's because this is her only way out of everything.

"Wait, how do we know we can trust her." Jace looks at him.

Marcus smiles.

"Well, in any dynamic like this, there is a contract, hers will state she can't talk about us, she can't do anything like that. The contract will have us covered, and her." Jace looks at Marcus confused.

"Why the hell would you need a contract?" Jace looks at them confused.

Marcus laughs slightly.

"You wouldn't understand even if I explained Jace, so forget it, I am sure Avalyn knows exactly what I mean by a contract." They both turn to Avalyn, waiting for her answer.

"Yes, a contract that says my responsibilities in the dynamic as well as Marcus's. Things I will allow and won't, things he will allow and won't. Plus extras." She smiles, the extras are a bonus, she looks at Marcus, he is hot, far hotter than her scumbag husband, she may as well get some fun out of this.

"Your choice, but if she squeals like a pig, I am running and sending your address to Cain and the police." Jace gets up and walks out, Marcus looking at Avalyn now wondering if it was such a good idea. He knows from Cain she has been out of the lifestyle for years. That isn't the issue, can he do this, knowing what her ending will be?
