Fake Uncle

Sitting she chooses only sad films, ones to make her cry, ready to tell Cain she just found out she was adopted. The sound of Cain walking upstairs causes her to close the movie, sitting staring at the blank screen, Cain walks in.

"Something the matter?"

Avalyn looks up at him nodding. "I was adopted."

Cain walks to the side of the bed, sits down and looks at her.

"What do you mean? How do you know you were adopted?" He questions her, confused by her tears.

"I couldn't find my name anywhere. I searched his and found he had a sister. That sister was married with a baby. However, they died; the daughter was put up for adoption. My legal name was Sasha Vanderbilt. Maybe, maybe you weren't the issue Cain and my family used you as an excuse to abandon me when we married because I was adopted?"

Avalyn looks up at Cain crying, tears streaming from her eyes threatening to cause a tsunami. She can use the fact she was adopted as the reason her mum and dad left her when she married Cain, not long after her mum died, then her dad.

"What about your uncle, why didn't he keep you?" Cain moves closer to her, his eyes on the blank laptop screen.

"He clearly didn't want me; my whole life was a lie." Avalyn starts crying, Cain's arms trying to comfort her.

"I had hoped to look over what you found." Avalyn nods, she should have known he would want proof.

"I requested the original birth certificate to be sent here along with my mother, father and uncles." Cain nods.

"Right, well Karen has cooked, are you hungry?" Avalyn nods when really deep down she is fighting back the words tell her to choke on her own food.

"That would be nice." The next two days she stays in the house, Cain never leaving, every night she walks downstairs, just to stand and watch them from afar, why she doesn't know. Something about watching them together brings her pleasure; maybe because soon he won't have her, he won't have anything. Yet, part of it is because she never had that with Cain, sex was just sex.

Nothing special, he hasn't even tried kissing her since she came back.

Sitting at the table Cain is opposite her, watching as she fills in the forms for the money, his happiness rising as he realises the money soon will be his.

"All yours now." She slides the papers over to Cain, his hand signing them. She is now his or working for him anyway.

"Right, I guess today I will go to work. Keep the door locked, any problems call me, okay?" Avalyn nods, watching as he walks out with Eliza and the contract. He really believes he is getting his hands on that fake money. She knows he will be home every night, for now anyway.

She watches as they drive away, waiting ten minutes she walks outside, moving the plant pot Avalyn grabs the phone and walks back into the house before she locks the door. Putting the deadbolt on as well to ensure Cain can't walk in while she is using it.

Turning on the phone, she watches as the screen lights up, the phone beeping as messages come through.

"It's Marcus, let me know you're okay."

"Any news?"

"Avalyn, please don't run, Jace thinks you are and is ready to tell Cain everything and kill me." Avalyn smiles at the phone, hitting his name and the call button waiting as she hears it ringing. Her anxiety is rising with every ring.

"Avalyn?" He stays quiet, waiting.

"It's me, can we meet?" Avalyn bites down on her lip hearing his voice, the visions of that day flying into her mind.

"Sure, meet where I told you, I will be there in fifteen." He hangs up, Avalyn rushing upstairs and getting dressed. Sitting, she puts on her makeup, sorting out her hair, so she looks nice. She walks to the address she memorised, walking through the back ally her body shakes from fear, and as it gets smaller and darker, she notices the door.

'Pleasured Moments'

The sign is dull yet in this ally it is bright. Her hand pushes the door open, walking in she stands shocked, her eyes taking in the sight around her. It is beautiful, but outside clearly a mask and cover-up for the true beauty that is in this place.

"Room ma'am?" The man at the door smiles at her.

"I'm meeting someone here."

The man nods, smiling at her. "Name?" Avalyn looks at him, what name does she give? She isn't sure if she should say Marcus, or her name Avalyn. Or something else? She takes out the phone and messages Marcus, unsure what to say. She reads the reply.

"Marcus." The man nods smiling; he begins walking towards her.

"This way Ma'am." She follows him through the building, the lights low, her body feeling like it is about to explode at any moment. He opens a door, gesturing her through it. She walks through, his hand shutting the door after her.

She turns and faces the bed, Marcus sits on it, her heart racing as her teeth bite down on her lips. Why has he brought her here?

"First, I shall explain. I use this for pleasure; I know how secretive it is, and how there is no chance your husband will find out about you coming here." Avalyn nods, standing in the same spot, her eyes looking around the room. It reminds her of her old Master's room, the sex swing, whips, gags, everything. It is beautiful.

"Please, come in and sit down."

Avalyn nods walking over, sitting on the corner of the bed.

"How is it going?"

She looks at him. "Good, I think. Cain believes me, he and Eliza spend the nights together while I sleep. He has signed the contract as well." Marcus nods smiling.

"Does he suspect you Avalyn?" he looks at her waiting if he does the whole plan will fail.

"I don't think so; he is trying to keep me happy, telling me we can try for a family." She wanted that family; her head lowers slightly; she was never going to get the family.

"That is good Avalyn." Sitting, he asks questions about everything to ensure that Cain doesn't suspect her. An hour later, they are still talking.

"Have you heard Cain and Eliza speaking, has he mentioned anything on a night or do you stay in bed?" Her face flushes red; she knows it is. She can feel the heat rising in her cheeks. Marcus looks at her face confused.

"What? Avalyn? What?" Marcus looks at her perplexed, trying to figure out why she would blush.

"I do, however, there is never much talking."

"How long do you stand and listen? Is it long enough to hear the conversation if they were speaking?" Avalyn nods smiling.

"Anything from five minutes to an hour, they don't speak much though." He looks at her, confused.

"What are they doing when you're listening?" She smiles at him.

"Oh, having sex usually, when they finish I walk back to my bed." He looks at her shocked.

"Why are you watching them have sex?" Avalyn's shoulders move.

"I don't know, the first night I walked down, I heard her moans. I stood watching; it seemed to fascinate me, the fact they had no idea I was standing there watching, about to destroy them." Marcus nods looking at her.

"That the only reason?" He looks at her waiting; her heart begins to race as she thinks back.

"Sure, there was a pleasure, sexual pleasure from watching them. Not as much or as high as the fascination." Marcus nods, his mind trying to work out who this woman is, he has so many questions, but right now isn't the time to ask them.
