Stopping at the house, Avalyn gets out and walks into the house straight to her room. Shutting the door, she locks it. Her body falls back onto the bed. She likes Marcus, really likes him. But Ian, something about him makes her give in and agree.

"I'm sorry Avalyn, I didn't want to upset you, just make you see sense. You said it yourself, you two have barely done anything. Tonight was all for you. Sure I got pleasure from knowing he would see, but you deserved a treat." Avalyn shakes her head.

"That was Marcus's choice, Ian." Moving she grabs her things, and walks out the door, Ian looks at her, stopping her from leaving.

"Where are you going Avalyn? Cain's funeral is tomorrow." Avalyn nods.

"Back to Marcus, staying here is clearly a mistake." Ian shakes his head.
