The Facts

"Tell me everything Ian, about Cain, everything. I still feel like most of my life was a lie with him. Part of my mind is craving to know the truth, while parts of my mind want to hide from it." Ian nods, grabs a drink he hands her one. Sitting down he glances at her.

"I have known Cain since we were kids, like thirteen. We started the businesses, and they grew and grew. They were going amazing, Cain back then was a nice guy. Something changed. I remember when it happened." Ian shakes his head. Cain wasn't his friend anymore. "He met you Avalyn. Cain was still the same man. Then one day he seemed on edge, I remember watching him pace the floor of the club. Mr. Cortez walked in and whispered something in his ear, and Cain's whole body relaxed. I asked, and he told me I would have no idea as I don't have a wife." Ian laughs; he didn't have a wife back then.
