Not Running

Sitting Ian leans his head back. She didn't run, yet part of her is still holding back, he sees she is. Ian finds his eyes closing as he drifts to sleep, the knocking waking him up. It's eight; his head shakes, he was meant to call and check things. Walking to the door, he opens it Mark and Ethan stand there, moving he lets them in.

"Brought the Miss some flowers." They place them down, Ian nodding.

"Everything sorted?" Mark nods.

"Body cleared away, and the whole thing cleared, no evidence left at all. The phone is here. We found messages between him and the brother. Nothing else though, no calls to anyone else nothing." Ian nods. That's something then, at least they know now it is over and ended. "I left Rob in charge of the club while we were gone, things are settling down there. People are asking how Avalyn is, I explained what happened, and she will likely be away from the business for a few days and you as well." Ian nods, he will be.
