Chapter 43: Advanced Technology Conspiracy Theory

At this time, Yuta had concluded his deal with Nakamura and was returning to base.

After the last assault and subsequent changes, they had decided to relocate their HQ to the Land of Snow.

The Land of Snow was arguably the most technologically advanced country in the Ninja World at this time.

Historically, there have been nations with immense technological prowess, but for various reasons, all of them have been destroyed.

Yuta recently remembered this and, when he shared it with his partners, Haruto and Akira, they were both extremely shocked.

Even after Yuta provided a plausible explanation for his theory, they were reluctant to believe it.

He theorized that there might be someone in the Ninja World intent on suppressing technological advancements.

Although he was not entirely sure of this idea and remained somewhat skeptical, the historical pattern of genocides occurring whenever a technologically advanced nation emerged suggested there might be some truth to his theory.

___

Yuta had just concluded his deal with Nakamura and was making his way back to the newly established base in the Land of Snow. The landscape was a stark contrast to their previous location, with snow-capped mountains and icy winds creating a cold, almost sterile environment. The relocation was not just a strategic move but also a symbolic one, as the Land of Snow was currently the most technologically advanced nation in the Ninja World.

Historically, nations with significant technological advancements had met grim fates. The destruction of these nations was not merely a matter of military defeat but seemed almost deliberate. This historical pattern had recently resurfaced in Yuta's mind, leading to unsettling thoughts that he had shared with his partners, Haruto and Akira. Their reactions had been a mix of shock and skepticism.

Before their departure from the old base, Yuta had broached the subject with his colleagues, explaining his concerns and his plan to establish multiple bases across the world as a precautionary measure.

At this time Yuta remembered the talk he had with Akira and Haruto before leaving their original base.

That time he had talked with the two about his speculations and his plan to build multiple bases across the world to avoid annihilation.

Yuta: (Looking serious, his brows furrowed in deep thought) "I've been thinking a lot about the technological advancements in our world. Do you remember how every nation with significant technological prowess has been destroyed?"

Haruto: (Frowning, crossing his arms) "Yeah, but what are you getting at, Yuta? We all know about those nations. It's history."

Akira: (Nodding, her eyes narrowing) "Exactly. What's the point you're trying to make?"

Yuta: (Leaning forward, his voice dropping to a whisper) "I think there might be someone out there who wants to suppress technological progress in the Ninja World."

Haruto: (Eyes widening, leaning back in his chair) "What? That's a bold claim, Yuta. Do you have any proof?"

Akira: (Skeptical, raising an eyebrow) "This sounds like a conspiracy theory. Why would someone want to do that?"

Yuta: (Sighing, running a hand through his hair) "I don't have concrete proof, just a theory. But think about it. Every time a nation achieves a significant technological breakthrough, they're wiped out. It can't just be a coincidence."

Haruto: (Rubbing his chin thoughtfully, glancing at Akira) "So you're saying there's a hidden force at work here, ensuring that no nation becomes too advanced?"

Akira: (Shaking her head, her expression doubtful) "I'm not buying it, Yuta. We need more than just a pattern to go on."

Yuta: (Firmly, his eyes intense) "I get it. I'm skeptical too. But look at the historical record: every time a nation advances technologically, a genocide follows. We need to consider the possibility that there's some truth to this."

Haruto: (Exchanging a glance with Akira, his brow furrowing) "It's a lot to take in, but you might be onto something. We should investigate further."

Yuta: (Serious, leaning closer) "I'm sure both of you haven't forgotten the most recent example of the Land of Sky. They had built an aerial fortress. And they were destroyed so easily. Being able to fly is such a heavy nuisance to the other great ninja villages. Onoki being the one using flying to its utmost potential, I don't believe that no other village coveted the technology of the Land of Sky, yet what was the result? After the fall of the aerial fortress, no other fortress took off."

Akira: (Reluctantly, crossing her arms and looking down) "Alright, we'll keep an open mind. But we need solid evidence before we act on this theory."

Yuta: (Nodding, his expression resolute) "Agreed. Let's gather more information and see where it leads us. But we need to stay alert. If there's any truth to this, we could be in danger just for knowing."

Haruto: (Sitting up straighter, determination in his eyes) "Then we need to be careful. We'll look into this quietly and see what we can uncover."

Akira: (Looking at Yuta with a mix of concern and curiosity) "You've given us a lot to think about, Yuta. Let's proceed cautiously and I will have him take charge of new HQ project."

Yuta: (Nodding, a hint of a smile playing on his lips) "Thanks, both of you. Let's get to the bottom of this together."

The three of them sat in contemplative silence, each lost in their thoughts as the weight of Yuta's words settled over them.

___

However currently they did not have that kind of problem, it's just that they were preparing for a rainy day.

Their current HQ was being built under the supervision of Dr. Vegapunk, a monstrous genius who can be compared to Orochimaru from this world.

Both of them posses the creativity required to make cross-generation technologies, and their IQ's have reached heights beyond imagination.

Vegapunk has even eaten the Brain-Brain Fruit allowing him to gain the ability to add unlimited knowledge to his brain at the cost of his brain expanding in size. A small price to pay for knowledge, if this was known to Orochimaru I'm sure he would be extremely jealous as that man has a dream of learning every jutsu in the world and having an infinite brain like this would be undoubtedly be a blessing.

As Yuta returned to the base in the Land of Snow, the stark cold and the advanced technology surrounding him felt both promising and ominous. The Land of Snow, with its gleaming towers and sophisticated machinery, stood as a beacon of the technological prowess that Yuta feared might attract dangerous attention. The icy environment seemed to mirror the chilling implications of his theory, and the shadows of past annihilations loomed large in his mind.
