"Amidst the gentle river's calming flow, The Phoenix, a crown of wisdom, is bestowed"

Though I was defiantly opposing his request to leave, I had thought it must not have been an easy task to reveal his background information unsure if I would spread it.

Reluctant as I was, I followed him after him, though I also knew my way back just as well as him.

The usual silence settled in between as he spoke, "Just so you know I don't care if you tell others, everyone will know at some point. "

I frowned, saying firmly, 'I won't tell the others; it's not like I have any reason to.' I responded bluntly; however, I found myself wanting to say more.

"I don't judge you for anything either, your mom's choice to sponsor the school wouldn't change the score from your exam you got by your own efforts."

Jun's gaze locked with mine, a blend of astonishment and emotion playing across his features. It made me wonder if I was simply just imagining it.

I wanted to just say more things and encourage a kid who assumes the whole world hates them.

I just wanted to tell him that it's okay because I was once like that.

In school I always wished someone, anyone, just at least one person would just talk to me.

I wished that my mom was around enough to encourage me when I felt lost, when I felt discouraged and when I felt alone.

I knew, better than most people, just how much it could mean to someone as young as him, I hoped it it would mean something.

Though we were physically the same age, my knowledge and mental maturity were figuratively higher.

I carefully considered the impact of my words before giving them life.

As I met his gaze, I sensed he would remember me for a long time to come.

I hoped they would linger as an impending reminder, an indelible memory for him. I hoped that it was for this—just as an author creates the lives of characters, and orchestrates their struggles, and destinies.

I wished for the ability to amend, to alter something, perhaps to justify the weight of being the author—bearing the weight of every struggle, every cry, and every conflict I had created.

"So cheer up, it can be a secret between us, like friends."

I hoped he would remember that so that when he grows up he can become a happier person. And for some reason, I hoped to see his smile one day.

We continued walking in silence until we reached our dorms, but this time this silence was comfortable, not such a sad silence, but more like a happy one.

The next day...

"LUO LUO!" I exclaimed jovially at her bubbly appearance in the same uniform as me, at the entrance to the school gates.

I've always wanted to experience a dramatic reunion with a friend. Most of my friends have been cool-headed, quiet, and introverted, much like myself, which I've never considered a bad thing.

Sometimes you just need to sit in someone's rich silence and cultivate a peace of mind.

"I didn't get any sleep last night, did you, actually how was the dorm? Is it big? Who are your roommates?" Luo Luo bombarded me with questions relentlessly.

Luo Luo looked so different, her hair was glossy and neat and she looked almost like a renowned beauty, so sophisticated, and the uniform fit her so, so well."

"Luo Luo slow down with the questions I'll answer them later... But you look amazing, I can't believe I never noticed your remarkable beauty." I teased her in a funny accent.

"Well, yes I am quite the remarkable beauty if I don't say so myself, but you underestimate yourself far too much," she chuckled.

"Li Wen your beauty is unmatched to many. " She teased back with grand gestures.

Upon passing through the grand bronze gates, we respectfully acknowledged the guards and entrance officers who greeted us warmly with smiles and gestures.

Separate entrances were designated for girls and boys, preventing us from reuniting with Ling Er, however, a special assembly was held for first-year students.

Approximately 200 students gathered in the Grand Hall located within the East Tower.

Resembling a grand stage for an opera, it was notably large in size.

Several students and I filed in a uniform line; I took a seat next to Luo Luo and a ginger-haired girl who appeared friendly.

As soon as the hall was crammed to the brim packed with students, Official Mei came onto the stage accompanied by the principal.

"Allow me to explain how you will be assigned to classes. As you're aware, there are 200 students, resulting in 4 dormitory levels, each with 50 students. Within each dormitory level, there will be 2 classes: the upper class and the lower class.

These classes will cover various subjects. Some will delve into quicker, more advanced topics with complex details, while others will focus on simpler subjects such as herbology." As his words echoed through the hall, whispers ignited like wildfire among the students.

"Settle down students, you are to be early pioneers of pills and alchemy I understand your excitement. However, this means depending on the scores you achieved in the exams this will determine which dormitory class you will be assigned to." As this realization sank in, a chorus of groans filled the room.

The girl beside me looked particularly discouraged by this.

The principal swiftly continued,

"The dormitory levels are:

- Dorm Liao Ma: this is the lowest dorm-level group. This consists of people who achieved the lowest scores. Those who are at this level will learn the basics of herbology to start in the first semester. To be in this dorm level you have had to get above or at 100/800.

- Dorm Neveila: Positioned as the second-lowest dorm level, Neveila focuses on the analysis of sample pills and elixirs. Students here will delve into the foundational aspects of herb-making, honing their skills to precision. To qualify for Neveila, a score of above 350 out of 800 was required.

- Dorm Lexus: Positioned as the second-highest tier, Lexus is where students dive into more intricate and complex topics within the field. Here, they explore the depths of potion theory and advanced alchemical practices. To qualify for Lexus, a score of at least 500 out of 800 was necessary.

- Dorm Phoenix: The pinnacle among the first-year dorm levels. It was once said, "Amidst the gentle river's calming flow, The Phoenix, a crown of wisdom, is bestowed".

Phoenix offers a comprehensive exploration of practical pill-making techniques. Students in Phoenix are immersed in hands-on activities, mastering the delicate art of creating potent elixirs. To qualify for Phoenix, a remarkable score of above 680 out of 800 was needed."

After this extensive yet enlightening introduction, an eerie silence blanketed the room, only the soft sniffles and solemn expressions of the assembled students could be heard amid the silence.

Now I remember creating the structure of the levels within schools, I did this similarly with the Swordart schools which was a main focus since Li Wei (my brother) had attended one.

However, I couldn't make sense of the fact that I the author forgot such a vital part of my novel.

In the novel during the second state (State of Martial Practitioning), Li Wei had learned of the fact that the knowledge of farming pills and elixirs was an effective way to cultivate faster.

Those who knew how to skillfully hunt for ores and resources and farm them into pills and elixirs were the ones who cultivated the fastest.

At that time, I was engrossed in farming cultivation novels, which led me to visit an actual farm to purchase some free-range eggs. While there, I ended up assisting the farmer by collecting the remaining wheat in the field as he gathered the eggs.

The experience was delightful, leaving me brimming with inspiration. On the bus ride home, I jotted pages of notes and ideas about a farming school that I could integrate into my novel.

So I swiftly created this school and I enjoyed doing it, though I could remember the feeling, I couldn't remember the details about this but I did know there were a few side characters who attended this school.

I was surprised at the newfound knowledge which I had only just remembered.

In my mind, I had initially accepted the possibility of missing memories which unfortunately means I currently do not retain all the memories of my past life.

I knew how strange it was to think that parts of my memory, more significant than I would know, were missing.

Not having all my memories would leave me more vulnerable to surprises and characters that are yet to come.

I also thought it was particularly coincidental that I ended up attending this very school. It's not like I chose the location of an orphanage.

Not having all my memories would leave me more vulnerable to surprises and characters that are yet to come.

As well as that, I wondered if that system that appeared to me when I first woke up here was the reason, and I wondered if it would ever come back.

Luo Luo couldn't contain her smile as she looked at me, overcome with a burst of ecstasy, exclaiming, "We're GOING TO BE IN THE SAME DORM LEVEL!"

I smiled in response squeezing her hand as she bounced about jovially. It was comforting to know that we would be together, and I looked forward to delving into the practical aspects of farming.

The girl next to me seemed noticably disappointed and a curtain of scarlet hair covered her wet eyes.

"Dear students," the headmaster's voice echoed through the hall, his words carrying weight and authority. "You will all soon be assigned badges and belts, each marking your dormitory level."

A hushed anticipation filled the air as he paused, a glint of realization in his eyes. "Ah, but there is one more thing," he declared, his fingers absently twirling the strands of his thick silver beard.

Everyone listened with eager curiosity as the announcement echoed through the room, "That's right. Those who rank in the top 10 will receive additional lessons and the privilege of separate dorm rooms. They will be the first to commence the process of farming pills and elixirs."

Luo Luo's smile quickly faded upon hearing that I would have separate lessons from them. However, he added that we would still attend general lessons together.

As we filed out of the hall, the officers and workers began distributing badges and belts to each student. I could sense the eagerness in everyone's gaze as they watched one another closely.

Although we stood further down the line, we couldn't help but hear the buzz of excitement spreading ahead as Jun was presented with a phoenix badge and belt, sparking whispers of awe and admiration among those around us.
