The immortal pats my head, granting me immortality.
This is a surreal and fantastical cultivation game, telling the story of a disciple of Wonderville who wields his sword in the other world.
There is no reincarnation but collision of courage and wisdom; there are no prophets but intersections of technology and strategy.
This book is interesting, so far (I'm up to ch. 16 now), and the characters are believable. The world building is fairly natural and not too forced. It's neat that it's cultivation, but in a VR game, and he's working to be high enough level to join a sect or be picked up by a loose cultivator. I'm looking forward to seeing how that works out for the MC. There are some grammatical errors, but it's pretty rare compared to other books I've read on Webnovel. I've seen two characters' names change; one was just for a sentence while the other was only for part of a chapter. Hopefully, it will be corrected soon. 😀
If you can ignore the atrocious translation quality, this is actually a very good video gaming novel. We got a solo MC with above average gaming ability with ordinary luck and of course, suspicious decision-making ability trying to make a living in a suspiciously-named online game. There are no SYSTEM and no harem, yet. The update schedule is all over the place too.The translation quality would be the reason whe premium is not recommended.
It's okay. The translation isn't perfect, there's quite a bit of tiny errors, but it's coherent (above average for webnovel translations). I don't like how there's only 15 free chapters.
