Eve..
It's been six days since I left Jason's home and all I spent my entire day reading different books from different genres. All of them had a happy ending and it kinda made me a little jealous.
I couldn't help but wish that it was me in the books.
Only if my life was a fairytale then maybe I'll have a happy ending.
I was still in my own bubble when I heard my phone ring.
I thought it was max again and I was ready to lash out if he was calling to ask if I was alright but to my dismay, it was my mother.
I didn't want to pick the call but I had to just in case it's an emergency.
I picked the call after the third ring.
"Hello." I said mustering up the courage to talk back if she said something to annoy me again.
"Eve, how are you my dear?" She asked and i hissed.
"Get to the point." I said.
"Don't be so cranky, come home." She said in a loving voice, it made me sick.
"I'm not coming." I said immediately.
"It's about Jason." She said and i frowned.
