"Oh Ethan!" I said the moment I saw him squatting by the toilet stall.
I pulled him into my embrace and he sobbed softly.
"Let it out.." I whispered as I rubbed his back in circles.
After few minutes, he stopped crying and pulled away.
"Are you alright?" I asked and he nodded.
He got up from his position and stood properly.
"Should we take a walk?" He asked with a sad smile.
I nodded and got up too.
The campsite was quite big so it was easy to walk around.
There were a lot campers too, some people came alone, a few of them were couples and a few others were family of four or more. Most people came with their kids and the kids ran around the camp fires giggling and laughing at whatever. I found them quite adorable. I noticed Ethan staring intently at a particular blonde boy who looked like he was about four years old.
