Episode 93

THE JESUS SLAY QUEENS 2

Episode 93

Romeo pulled out of the street and parked beside the house. The house didn't look that good, but I had to accept it the way it is. Is this the house we would live after we get married? The house was small and a little bit old. It was painted cream but had a lot of stains on it. The paint were already old and worn out.

"Is this the place?"

"Yes this is it. This is my mum's house."

I was struck with fear on the spot. Romeo had asked me several times to accompany him on this journey but I kept telling him one thing or the other. The truth about it was my heart was bitter against her. I felt she doesn't deserve to be part of the picture and the Holy Ghost always rebuked me for that. But I always had my way of giving one reason why we couldn't go and getting wedding date closer.

"Why didn't you tell me we were coming here?"

"Would you have agreed to come?"

"Of course I would!"

"Like you've always done, right?"

"Romeo! I don't need her now. Whatever she has to say we will be subject to it. If she refuses to give us and blessing we would have no choice than to hold on with the wedding. I can't bring in something that will slow us down when we have already moved on."

"Juliet you don't understand what's going on? The devil has tried so many times to give me what to tell you. But I have resisted him so much. You have really made me angry with you for not allowing my visit all this while. If you love me so much she would also want to see the woman who brought me into this world.

Nevertheless, if you want me to turn back right now I would do so. You're still my mentor and my leader and I will obey whatever you say. Just say the word and I will turn back," he said with his head bowed.

I turn to look into his eyes and saw he was close to tears. His eyes were thick as the tears were almost falling off.

I knew Romeo so well when we were little. He was never a violent person or a person who uses force. Whenever he is angry, he cries. He never fight a person or forces a person to do what he wants. But sometimes when he's frustrated and angry he starts crying.

I felt guilty because it was obvious I was the reason why he was angry and expressing himself in his usual manner. But what kind of husband is this? A crying husband! Lol.

What's wrong with me? How can I be happy when my husband is sad? But it narrowed down to one thing. As annoying as I was, I got a good man. This was exactly the kind of man that could tolerate all my annoying attitudes and still love me.

"Daddy please help me not to break his heart. Work on me and make me a vessel unto honour."

I reached out and took his hand in mine.

"Romeo I'm so sorry! I don't know I was hurting you so badly. I'm sorry for being selfish and not considering your feelings. Please find a place in your heart to forgive me. I've been so selfish and concerned about what I wanted and ignored your feelings. Please I am sorry!"

"It's okay Julie angel! I forgive you! Can I take you back?"

"Take me back to where? I'm seeing your mum of course!" I replied and a smile lit up his face.

"Let's go!" He said with so much excitement. He opened his door, stepped down and ran around the car to get the door for me. He took me by the hand and pulled me up gently. He shut the door and placed a kiss on the back of my hand.

"Romeo you are breaking the rules!" I said and flung my hand off his grip.

"You were the one who started it the other day."

"Haaaaaaaa! That is no excuse for you to start breaking the rules as well. We need somebody to stand when the other is falling."

"And the person who is supposed to stand is you. Immediately Eve fell, Adam could not survive. So it's obvious that the woman is the backbone of the team. That's the reason when the Bible was talking about the home builder, it emphasized on the woman. It says, the wise woman builds the home and the foolish destroys it with her own hands.

So if there's anybody who is supposed to be standing while the other is falling, it's you."

"Well done oooo! Mysterious Apostle. Keep giving us the good reasons why the principles in this relationship should be broken. But don't let me catch you kissing my hand again, if not, I will slap you!" I said with a playful frown and he burst laughing.

Soon we got to the door and knocked. After knocking for what looked like 5 minutes and there's no response, the door finally opened.

Staring at us was a girl of about 15 years of age.

"We are looking for your mum," Romeo requested.

"Mummy!" The girl called as she went indoors.

Soon the mother of my husband appeared at the door. Immediately I saw her, I saw the resemblance. Romeo had the striking features of his mum.

She also recognized him as her son immediately their eyes met. I could see the pains in her eyes as regret overwhelmed her.

"Mummy!" Romeo called with a smile on his face.

"Why are you here?"

"Is that how you welcome your son you haven't seen in years?" He asked grinning.

"Robert!" She called in a tier choked voice and embraced him tightly. I stood and watched the mother and son reunion with smiles on my face.

"Please, come in!" She said and led us in.

"Mummy!" I called and went down on my knees.

"Is this your stepsister?" She asked.

I almost bust into laughter at the question.

"No ma! This is the woman I intend to marry and brought her to meet you."

"Wow! Such a beautiful lady! Please stand up my daughter!" She said all smiles.

As soon as I rose up, she embraced me.

"I'm so happy you choose to come and see me. I believe you are the one who made it a compulsion to see me before marrying my son." She said as she stared into my face.

I felt guilty on the spot. I always ensured this visit never happened and now, she was praising me for being the orchestra of it. I knew she had to know the truth but it must be conveyed wisely.

"Mummy please! It was all his idea. We need the blessing of a mother and we agreed to come, to receive your motherly blessing."

"Wow! That's wonderful! Can we please take our seats?"

We all sat down on the cushions and paid rapt attention to what she had to say.

"Ever since I left your father, I thought I was going to have the best of life. Life was free for me and full of many promises. I didn't leave your dad because I hated your step brother. I left because I was already involved in an extra marital affair. Unknown to everyone, it went on for a long time. I needed to open up to your dad, but there was no way I could do that. The guy I was dating was already promising to settle down with me.

All we needed to make it happen was to get your father to divorce me. So when your step brother showed up, I found my opportunity. I decided to make him my ticket out of the marriage. I started doing all like could to make your father hate me and love the boy.

I guess I got what I wanted when we both went our separate ways. I moved in with the new guy and finally got married to him. Our marriage was heaven on earth for three years. After 3 years, I notice he started another extra marital affair. And a lot of people blamed me for marrying him. If a guy could date a married woman and steal her from her husband, what would make him not do the same with another woman?

I did all I could to win my man back, but it wasn't working. Our marriage went sour and we ended up going our separate ways. I started living alone and felt ashamed to go back to your father. I guess that was my greatest regret, but I can't repair what's been damaged.

When things were tight with money I started having male friends. Friends who could help out financially, but with a price. Guys who had a wonderful family but a wife that denies them our body. A wife that whenever she was mad at her husband would, start denying him her wifely duties.

Those kind of men became my anchor during financial storms. They supported me and I supported them with what I had, my body. You can call it prostitution. I'm just fed up with what I became. I felt so dirty that I just couldn't go back to your father.

That was how I gave birth to the girl who opened the door. Her father insisted I get rid of the pregnancy to save his marriage. I wasn't ready to do such and I kept the baby a secret from his wife.

He ensures he looks after us on a monthly basis. But at a point, he cut off from me completely. He had blocked me and ensured I had no access to him. I have no intentions of wrecking marriage so I gave up and getting him to fulfill this responsibilities.

He never wanted me to keep the baby in the first place. So he had every right to stop sending us money for upkeep. That's how I ended up getting you a step sister. Her name is Maria and she's 17 years old. I almost died giving birth to her, because I was in my early forties. I had to go to cesarean session. And never believed I would get pregnant, but it happened anyway.

That's my story Robert. I'm sorry I failed as a mother. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you when you needed me the most. I'm sorry I abandoned you because of my selfish reasons. I'm sorry I give up on you to pursue a useless dream. I regretted the day I took the decision to leave. If I had known all these were waiting for me, I wouldn't have left in the first place."

Her story was seriously getting me. Soon, she broke down in tears and began to weep. Romeo walked up to her and hugged her. I joined the whole as well and we all wept together.

"Mum, it's okay! You're not a disappointment. I'm glad you realized yourself and did the right thing.

"What did I do?"

"You kept Maria safe. She didn't end her life, even when her father wanted her death. I've always wanted a sister and I'm glad I have one. Mommy I'm glad finally met again. It took me so much to get your location from Dad. I was able to convince him to forgive you and I believe he would want to see you. He told me to report back when I finally found you.

It's not over yet! God has good plans for you."

"Thank you so much! Let me bless your wife!" She said and turned to me.

She placed her hand on my stomach and shut her eyes.

"Mark my words. You'll conceive on your wedding night. You'll not experience any form of miscarriage or delay in childbirth." She decreed.

Honestly, I felt something move in my stomach.

To be Continued.......

Finally the couple has gotten their mother's blessing. This is very important in marriage. Do not joke with the blessings that comes from the parents. They may not be born again, but there's an authority they possess in the spirit realm by reason of birthing you.

At the same time the curse from a parent is powerful. There's a spiritual backing that fortifies whatever comes out of their mouth.

Only the blood of Jesus can nullify the evil they pronounce, carelessly or in anger.

I want to use this opportunity to talk to mummies in the house. Be careful with whatever you say or pronounce on your children. Those words have power to shape the destiny of that child. Some mothers today, have destroyed the life of their children with their mouth.

They have called their children's several names which the devil has backed up to make it come to pass. I have witnessed mother's calling their children stubborn and the children became more than stubborn.

Even in anger be careful what you say. The Bible says, be angry but do not sin. I once heard the story of a man of God who came back from the mountain and needed to send his son on an errand. Due to the boy's unsubmissive attitude, the father was infuriated and used the word, 'Are you mad?'

Immediately the boy took off his clothes and ran into the street. All attempts to bring this boy out of insanity failed. The Holy Ghost told him that the anointing upon his life was irreversible.

Learn to control whatever you say over your children. As many of you who had episodes where your parents voiced in anger. You can pray and nullify whatever negative pronouncement spoken over you, through the blood of Jesus.
