Disturbance in the Dining Hall

Facing the bowing woman, Rizz stopped his steps. He let go of Gerrart's arm while scanning the crowd of discontented onlookers.

More than anything else, it was all too easy for the keen-minded goblin to notice Morticia's flinching gaze, which was trying too hard to not look at the white-haired and red-eyed wolfkin.

"Well fuuuck…" Rizz whistled and snapped his fingers with a childish sigh.

"Yo, Gerrart, that fur should keep you warm outside, ride?"

A slew of murmurs cascaded over the tables. Some of the lingering tension unwinded as plenty of gazes lightened up atop the goblin.

Gerrart put on a familiar, false smile. "Yes. I'll be more than fine outside."

"Perfect!"

Rizz laughed and spun back to the older, boarkin woman. "Then add us to your waiting list. And we'll get started with the rib special. Two for him, two for me, and two for Sabina, wherever she is."
