In the midst of the starry sky, both sides were fixated on the central planet, which was currently being ravaged by two opposing energies.
"Your actions are meaningless... This Titan belongs to us... He shall embody the will of the Void, and you... Dark Titan Sargeras, you and that pitiful Pantheon are doomed..."
The pitch-black void surged and churned, releasing a chaotic whisper.
"The Legion will burn everything. When the entire universe is consumed by fel flames, it will be the end for you pitiful serpents who dare hide within the Void..."
Sargeras lifted his head, gazing directly into the endless void on the other side.
"As for this corrupted kin, his death will only fuel more of my hatred. You will pay for this..."
"It was your own hand that killed your kin, it was you who brought destruction upon your kin, it was you..."
At the mention of this, Sargeras let out a disdainful snort, his will unwavering, unaffected by the mad whispers of the Voidlord.
Gripping tightly the broken sword named "Gorehowl, the Dark Boiling", this Titan artifact, when intact, was known as "Gorshalach, the Dark Render", bringing endless glory to the Pantheon's order. However, after Sargeras's fall and his break with the Pantheon, in that epic battle, the sword shattered into two. One part continued to belong to Sargeras, named "Gorehowl, the Dark Boiling", while the other part ended up in the hands of his former lieutenant, Aggramar, named "Tis'ashalach, the Flame Ripper".
Regarding that conflict with his kin...
Sargeras no longer dwelled on it, gripping the broken sword in his hand, ready to launch an assault.
"You all will pay..."
Before he could finish, a sudden anomaly occurred.
A tremendous surge of energy erupted from the central planet of both sides. The void and fel energies interwove, yet they didn't interfere or clash. They peacefully coexisted, guided by a very prominent golden divine force, sweeping toward the positions of both sides.
In the blink of an eye, with no time for deep consideration, both the Voidlord and Sargeras swiftly erected their defensive measures. The former conjured an immensely thick shield of pitch-black void, while the latter raised his broken sword, summoning a mirror-like emerald blaze in front of him.
However, the anticipated fierce attack did not manifest. This force, though appearing exceedingly potent and godly, was oddly lacking in aggression. At most, it was akin to a flash of light.
Hu Feng couldn't help but find this quite amusing, so he seized the opportunity. Expending his limited burst of divine power, he manipulated his planet egg and made a hasty escape.
As Sun Tzu once said: If you can't win, run.
Well... whether Sun Tzu actually said that or not, in any case, Hu Feng managed to escape successfully.
He didn't have a specific destination in mind, just randomly leaping through space. The whole process of fleeing flowed smoothly, effortless and uninterrupted.
By the time both sides reacted, the central space between the planets was utterly vacant, not a trace remaining.
The embryonic Titan Sarodar, astonishingly, survived within the corruption of the void and the destruction of fel. And even more surprisingly, he exhibited an anomaly unseen in all previous Titan souls.
In principle, a Titan soul at such a stage of development should not possess self-awareness. They usually slumber, powerless to resist.
Sargeras remained silent for a long time, then emitted a low, dark laughter.
"It seems my young kin hasn't succumbed to your void's corruption. Instead, he has grasped both the essence of the void and fel. You've created yourselves a natural enemy, hehehe..."
With that, Sargeras lost interest in further clashing with the Voidlord. The tsunami-like flames of fel rapidly engulfed the Dark Titan and the vast demon fleet behind him, vanishing in the next moment.
The Voidlords offered no retort, seemingly trapped in boundless rage, as the dark void energy violently surged.
Finally, they spread their psychic search and tracking, yet still found no traces. Consequently, the boundless void began to slowly disperse.
Calm returned to the starry expanse once more.
On the other side, Hu Feng continued to control his planet egg... ahem, control his planet's irregular jumps. Before his divine power was depleted, he'd go as far as possible.
Fate might always be so magical, or it could be the luck of a protagonist... Oh well, anyway, Hu Feng suddenly sensed a peculiar spiritual call.
This spiritual call was unconscious, emitted by fellow Titan souls.
From the inherited memories, he knew that unhatched Titan souls could sense each other within a certain distance. This innate ability would vanish after birth, much like how human infants are naturally able to swim but forget the skill after a while.
Azeroth, that was her name.
Hu Feng was immediately invigorated. Manipulating his planet Sarodar, he leaped towards the star system where Azeroth resided.
It was an unusually beautiful star system. Colorful nebulae emitted glassy radiance in the distance, enveloping the entire star system in a dreamlike, ethereal glow.
Here was tranquility and peace, hidden away in a secret location. For countless years, no life had ever set foot in this idyllic paradise. Judging by the arrangement of planets, only Azeroth possessed all the conditions necessary to nurture native life.
Azeroth had two moons, akin to Earth's description of having two moons. At this moment, they revolved around the beautiful blue planet.
The majority of the planet's surface was ocean, with a single circular continent. Sensing Azeroth's condition, Hu Feng was reminded of Earth. Apart from the difference in continent shapes, everything seemed uncannily similar.
Controlling his planet egg, he approached Azeroth. Hu Feng sensed a friendly and joyful spiritual message. Although Azeroth's core Titan soul hadn't awakened to autonomous consciousness, the unconscious spiritual fluctuations revealed a gentle, pure, and orderly Titan deity.
Moving to the backside of Azeroth and using it as a shield against the central star's radiance, Hu Feng decided to maintain this close proximity.
His planet lacked the conditions to nurture life, so sunlight or lack thereof was irrelevant. Besides, his current priority was nurturing alliances... err, cultivating allies.
Dark Titan Sargeras wanted to kill him, and the Voidlords sought to corrupt him. Against these two formidable adversaries, he was far from a match. Solo combat was not the smart move.
Therefore, he had to cultivate at least one, if not more, reliable allies to establish an organization for safety's sake.
It was a pity that he could sense only Azeroth among his Titan brethren. So, he had to make do with a partnership of two; better than going it alone.
Having settled down, Hu Feng decided to observe the situation on Azeroth's planet for an extended period. If life were to emerge, that would be even better.
Titans possessed eternal lives, and time was something he had in abundance. Paradoxically, time was also his greatest scarcity."
