PAIN OF THE SOUL

"Oh?, so this is why my lord sent us". The beautiful woman in the front said with a bit of surprise in her voice.

"it seems so, sister morgana" the second woman replied, looking at the mix of energies and the destruction happening on the earth.

"i wonder why the lesser gods of this place allowed this to happen?" the third syster spoke, curiosity and also a bit of annoyance could be seen on her beautiful face as it wrinkled a bit.

"it is the aura of the master so i'm not surprised that they are hiding and not trying to fix things" morgana, the first sister spoke in a confident tone that made her sisters nod their heads in agreement.

"jane, marie" morgana spoke, looking to the side of earth that was white but had a black spot, that spot being the giant crater that was formed when george fell, "it seems that all the energy of the lord was gathered there" she pointed, showing her sisters.

"alright let's go there" saying that the sisters flashed and in an instant they were there, hovering above the center of the crater.

While there they spread their senses to cover the entire planet and saw everything that was happening, the earthquakes, the tsunamis, the eruptions from volcano's, everything but... they did not care, this entire universe could collapse and they wouldn't bat an eye.

The order they received was to retrieve the lords energy, not to save the planet and that is what they intended to do.

"this planet will restart again" jane the second sister said with an indifferent tone.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" A ear piercing scream was heard coming from the crater, dense and terrifying releases of a horrendous amount of darkness and fire energy permeated there, swerling slowly, building up more and more power and george, who was the cause, this time was in immense pain, so much so that he would rather have all his limbs coped off with a dull blade and then tossed into a nest of toxic insects.

There was almost no way to describe it, the feeling of having your soul ripped apart piece by agonising piece, he was in torment.

His newly formed flesh burned, his blood boiled, his bones splintered and pierced him from the inside, his eyes burst into blooddy myst, his muscled felt as if they had hot and cold sand within, his organs slowly raptured and then exploded causing huge holes in both his back and his belly while the only reason his entire torso was not removed was because the energy held it together.

All this happened from his very soul, and he could do nothing, not even wish for death.

But then..... all the pain, all the suffering, it just... stopped.

Everything disappeared like it was all just a dream..... as if... it never happened.

As if..... reality just played a joke on him... but he knew, he knew it was no dream or illusion, he knew that all the pain and suffering he had just experience was all real and if it was real then..... why?... why did it suddenly stop?.

Why did he feel all the pain in the first place? what happened to him?

His body that was just destroyed was now as good as new, even better than before, opening his eyes he could see everything and then, he felt it, he felt something utterly terrifying, so much so that he and his new body instinctively moved back deeper into the crater as if to not catch the attention of whatever was letting off that energy.

But, little did he know that the same being he wanted to instinctively avoid was the same one who stabilized his soul and let him recover.

"most likely, but let's get that human who absorbed the energy first" marie said waving her hand and releasing a dense energy that covered george who was writhing in pain and screaming.

When the energy enveloped him, he calmed down instantly and his body began to heal itself, "this should stop his soul from devouring itself and heal it" she said in a flat tone, not paying any mind to george anymore.

[with this, i can be back home and focus on making my new projects grow] she thought.

Her sisters just looked at her blankly as if to say, why are you so eager to return?

Before they could move however, they noticed george shot backwards going deeper in the crater while looking in there direction, the energy that frightened him, that made him feel dread, that made all his instincts scream to run..... was the same one that healed him.

"[why are you trying to erase your presence?]" a sweet and beautiful voice was heard in his mind and it shocked him to no end, "[come out of the crater now]".
