Outing With The Girls

As Damien and Randell enter Sheridan's classroom.

The classroom is fairly lit, with a few desks spread through it, the windows are open allowing fresh air to come in. The floor is made of tiles in a grayish design. Standing by the window is Sheridan as she watches outside, and suddenly many soft thuds can be heard coming toward Damien.

As he looks toward the sounds, he feels someone hit him as these delicate arms stretch around his torso pulling him tightly. Damien looks down and sees Jessica burying her face in his chest as she mumbles into it.

"What did you say?" Damien asks as Jessica eases off him and peeks up to Damien's face.

"Hey! We heard what happened! Are you okay?" Jessica frantically searches over Damien's body checking to make sure he is alright.

"Yeah, I'm fine. As you can tell. Feels like I'm brand spankin' new!" Damien says as he pounds his fist into his chest showing a triumphant look.

Sheridan comes over, "How-" She shakes her head, "Damien, where did your bruises and cuts go?" Sheridan says as she looks curiously at Damien.

"They healed. Complete recovery, Ha." Damien rubs the back of his head, "But to be totally honest with you, I don't know how it happened..."

Sheridan observes Damien for a few seconds before Lauren comes walking over to the group.

"Hey!" She punches Damien in the arm. "What were you think?! Picking a fight with that guy of all people?!" Lauren was clearly upset with Damien.

"Ouch, how do you know who I got in a fight with?" Damien says as he rubs the spot Lauren punched.

"Well, I kinda told Sheridan who it was." Randell says.

"And the girls wouldn't stop pestering me about you since they haven't heard from you at all since yesterday morning. I just told them you were going to take a few days off since you got into a scuffle with Sebastian. I didn't know you wanted to keep it a secret." Sheridan explains.

"Well, it is what it is. I just didn't want you girls to worry." Damien returns his attention to Sheridan.

"Thanks again for helping me out back then. Glad to know you're doing more."

Sheridan smiles, "Of course, I'll always be here if any of you ever need my help."

"Well, girls I'll be seeing you after class. I gotta go train for the upcoming duels!" Damien starts to leave. "Come on Randell!" He gestures to Randell letting him know to follow.

Randell follows Damien as they head toward the Training Arena.

Damien and Randell spend the day training.

After classes end Damien starts to head to his dorm room but along the way, he hears a couple voices reaching out to him. Not sure what he's hearing Damien turns around and notices Jessica and Lauren chasing after him.

"Hey! Damien. Where you going?" Jessica asks as she manages to catch up to Damien.

"Oh, well, I'm just heading back to my dorm room to relax for the day. I've been working pretty hard in the training area." Damien says as he walks side by side with the two girls.

"Well, why don't we go out and grab some food, it's been a while since we just hung out together." Lauren says as she goes around Damien's opposite side of Jessica.

"Alright. Where do you two want to go?" As Damien shrugs, "cause I have no preference."

"Come on I know the spot!" Jessica grabs on to Damien arm and drags him along.

"Oh, wait wait!" Damien pleads but it goes to deaf ears as Jessica ignores his cries and continues to drag him to her favorite cake shop.

As they enter, they are greeted with a loud welcome "Welcome to the Cake Arena! Where the best cakes and sweets are made in town!" An old looking man stands behind a counter and, on the counter, there are several sweets on display.

Jessica practically pulls Damien to the counter as she eyes the menu above their heads, trying to figure out what to get.

"Hm... What do you think I should get." She says looking at Lauren.

"What we always get." Lauren replies.

"Right! Can I get a monster cake with extra chocolate chips and frosting on it, please!" Jessica says to the cashier.

"Well of course, dear. Anything else?" The cashier gestures toward Damien and Lauren.

"No thanks." Lauren says.

Damien just shakes his head while rotating his shoulder, "No thank you."

"Alright then. It'll be right out." The cashier says.

Lauren taps Damien on the shoulder, "Let's go find a place to sit while Jessica gets the cake."

"Good idea." Damien follows behind Lauren.

They find a spot that has a street view.

"Pretty surprised this shop got repaired so quickly, like not even 24 hours ago I was flung through that very window. Ha." Damien softly chuckles to himself.

"That's magic for you. Does the impossible." Lauren says as Jessica steps up to both with an arm full of a monstrous cake decorated with chocolate sprinkles and the frosting makes it look even bigger.

"I'm back! Now let's put this down so we can start eating!" Jessica sets the cake down and sits across from Damien right next to Lauren.

"This thing is huge!" Damien was astonished by the sheer size of the cake.

"Yeah, and she can eat the whole thing by herself, so, if you want any I would start eating now."  Lauren says as she pierces the cake with a fork and takes a small chunk out of it and starts eating.

"Alright, I'll have some but not to too much." Damien digs in.

After a few chunks of the cake Damien puts to rest his fork.

"Wow, that's filling." Damien pats his belly as he leans back in his chair. "You know, this place is pretty."

Damien looks around the place, he sees it's well decorated, with posters of famous singers and dancers plastered on the side wall opposite them. The windows are big, letting in some fresh light. Their walls are painted white with some small, sweet stickers plastered everywhere, giving it a friendly and colorful vibe. The floor has white tiles and is polished to the point Damien can see his reflection off it.

"They take great care of this place; you can't even tell there was a fight here yesterday." Damien continues rubbing his belly as he watches Jessica devour the monster cake in front of his very eyes.

"My god, thank god I didn't think of trying to stick my finger in to get a taste. You would have taken the whole arm." Damien says as they start laughing.

"Thanks girls. I needed a break from the chaos." Damien sighs as he basks in the peaceful atmosphere the girls and him are in.

"Of course, Damien." Lauren says as she lays her fork down in defeat. "I don't know how you do it girl this thing is too big."

Jessica just keeps going at it. "Shmmo gud!" She tries to say with a mouthful.

Damien and Lauren chuckle, "next time do it with a mouth that's not full." Lauren says.

Jessica swallows what she had and looks at Lauren and Damien, "I said its so good."

"Aah. That it is." Damien says.

Jessica finishes her cake and sighs with enjoyment as she rubs her belly.

"That was good and hit the spot!"

Damien gets up, "Well girls, let's head on out, I'll walk you home."

The girls get up and they leave with Damien.

As they are walking down the street Jessica grabs Damien by the arm. "This is one of my favorite spots." She holds him tightly.

Damien looks at her and smiles.

Lauren steps a bit closer to them and walks side by side with Damien. "I like it here too."

Damien lets out a soft chuckle as the girls and him continue down the road.

Within a few minutes they came up to the girl's house.

"Well, this is your stop my ladies. I had fun spending the evening with you two. I hope to see you girls tomorrow." Damien says as he leads the girls to the front door.

"Yeah, it was fun." Jessica says, she pulls Damien slight toward her and gives Damien a kiss on the lips. He turns bright red but before he can say anything Jessica runs inside. Behind the door you can hear Jessica say, "Have a good night!"

Lauren laughs. "Ha, I can't believe she did that." Lauren softly mumbles to herself, "Now I gotta too."

Before Damien can register what's happening, Lauren pulls Damien close to him and gives him a kiss on the lips as well.

"Good night, Damien." Lauren turns around and heads inside.

Damien awestruck by the situation, stands at the door for a few minutes before realizing how late it is getting. He steps back and says, "Good night girls!" and starts heading toward his dorm room.

Once at his dorm room Damien gets ready for the night and plops down on his bed. Sleep soon overtakes him.
