~~ At NeuroScience Hospital ~~
Mr. Gonzalez drove up to the sprawling NeuroScience Hospital, guiding Garret, who seemed bewildered, through the glass doors into the sterile, well-lit lobby filled with hushed murmurs and the faint scent of antiseptic.
"I have brought the patient," Mr. Gonzalez announced to the receptionist, his demeanour a mix of concern and determination.
"Why did you bring me here, Dad? I didn't have an appointment today. Is Peony waiting for me here?"
Mr. Gonzalez's expression turned stern. "You will meet her only after you have recovered, my son," he stated firmly, guiding his son further into the hospital's interior.
Garret, who started to resist as they entered, "Leave me! I want to meet Peony. I don't need any cure!"
Garret's protests grew louder as he adamantly refused the treatment, throwing a tantrum. Staff and nurses observed the scene with concern as the commotion unfolded.
