Avernium City was the city that sheltered many humans in the dark times, and humanity survived due to it being hidden from monsters and demons. The world was now the place of both monsters and demons while humanity had yet to reclaim their once lands.

The City was thriving and on the valleys and mountain ranges, the snow had yet to be melted. The snow was all there unmelting at all times even in summer.

Several monster waves per year were attacking the walls on the Avernuim pass and it was still unable to destroy the walls. They were fighting and rebuilding continuously for many years.

Inside the city was the Avernium Academy, the school that was nurturing the future generation into Martial arts cultivator students. Inside the classroom, there was a sleeping student that has black spiky hair and a round face. Dazing and drooling on his saliva.

He was named Ainz Bloodsworn of the Bloodsworn family. A noble family that excels in weapon combat. However, they were a declining family due to having debts from their debtors. One of his missions in life was to free them from all debts.

Xuan watched his teacher tell them about the basics. Having been trained on the basics first before anything else. His teacher was none other than called Braun. He has a muscular build and eyeglasses. Has red hair that was spiky on his back end.

"The martial paths you choose are divided into seven: the Martial Elementalist Technique, Martial Summoner Technique, Martial Shapeshifter Technique, Martial Conjurer Technique, Martial Healer Technique, Martial Spatial Technique, Martial Murim Technique, Martial Assassin Technique, and last, Martial Telekinetic Technique, Martial Knight Technique, Martial Berserker Technique, Martial Dark Lord Technique, Martial Undying Technique, and Martial Venomancer Technique.

"They were all getting stronger with cultivation. You will all have a test shortly on your cultivation potential and physique stats. As for your martial paths, you will all have a chance to have." he said then he fixed the position of his eyeglasses.

It was then, that he was tested by Sir Braun. They all walked towards the front desk of their sir. A ball of crystal was placed on top of the desk.

"Place your hand on top and we will see everything," Braun said in a commanding voice.

It was then, he put his hands on the crystal ball. Numbers and letters then formed and they all saw its inscriptions.

"Cultivation potential–Sky realm 2nd stage!"

"Physique stats–Strength 37, Dexterity 38, Endurance 39, Focus 32!"

Whoa!

The ones who heard were shocked.

"As for the martial path," his teacher then gulped his saliva.

"Nothing!"

It was then, that many students laughed at him, "Trash!" they muttered.

Many others were also in a similar fate as him. As for the reward for being trash, they were sent to the back of the room and stood there for the whole semester.

There were 15 of them who went standing at the back of the room and they said "Hi" to each other. Knowing them was refreshing for Xuan.

As for the great calamity, it was getting near. The city has to survive the great calamity or else humans will flee to all parts of the world and get killed one by one by monsters. With his newfound brothers, he would have to train them himself. All his knowledge will be put to use after all those years of fighting in the wilderness. The knowledge he has collected for his entire lifetime in the past would be put to use.

"Well, we are the weakest bunch of students. I am Xuan, let's get acquainted first!" Ainz said to them.

"I am Rein," a blue spiky-haired kid said to him.

"I am Spike!" a tall kid with brown hair and a chiseled face said.

"Druin," said the one that had a tribal tattoo on his skin.

"Kniel," he folded his arms then smirked.

"Truin," he raised his hands then lowered them.

"Ren," he then cracked his knuckles. He had bandages on his hands wrapped up.

"Kilin," he smiled while his eyes narrowed. He has the ambiance of a silent but cheerful kid.

"Ken," he then smiled.

"Chen," he then smirked.

"Eil," he saluted.

"Xulin," he smiled.

"Xiao," he said then winked.

"Han," he immediately thumbs up.

"Yi," he combed his hair as he said.

They soon get acquainted and then have a small chit-chat with each other. All was going smoothly. They will soon know their martial paths in the future and then Xuan already knows how to train them.

Their teacher then said that they would know their martial paths. It was a great chance for them to finally gain a martial path.

Rein was an Elementalist, Spike was a Summoner, Druin was a Shapeshifter, Kniel was a Conjurer, Truin was Spatial, Ren was Telekinetic, Kilin was a Healer, Ken was an Assassin, and, Chen was Murim. Eil was a Berserker, Xulin was a Knight, Xiao was Undying, Han was a Dark lord, and Yi was a Venomancer.

Xuan's turn then was up and he was tested. But his sir was surprised at what he saw, "Attribute less? You don't have an affinity? White soul attribute?

"Hahaha! Trash!" one of his classmates shouted.

"I am so sorry Xuan. You will have no future if you have no Martial Path compatibility," Braun said sadly.

Xuan then was smiling as he knew that being attributeless or having no affinity meant only one thing. And he was smirking as he knew that it had its good points. He knew just what to do.

It was then, that their teacher started to teach.

"First of all, I will introduce myself. I am Braun, an Elementalist who uses the element of Lighting. I will briefly explain the 8 different martial paths.

"Elementalist Technique was using the elements to your bidding and was like controlling it like an extension of your hands.

"Conjurer technique was conjuring weapons, illusions, and clones. Also, the Summoner technique used summons ranging from beasts, dragons, and spirits to nature.

"The Telekinetic technique was pushing or pulling enemies, flight, and force. Also, the Shapeshifter technique was shapeshifting to beastmen, spirits, and dragonoids.

"The Murim technique was divided into 3, specifically the Warrior which specializes in speed and weapons, Juggernaut which specializes in defense and toughness, and Brawler which specializes in burst attacks.

"The Assassin technique was specialized on both Ranger and Rogue. They were both ranged classes. The Ranger specialized in both dual-wielding swords and bows while the Rogue was also dual-wielder but more specialized in dagger throwing. Both were masters of sneak attacks and killing intents.

"The Healer technique was on healing, regeneration, and enhancement. While Spatial technique was on teleportation, portal, and time." Braun ended his speech.

A student then raised his hands, "Sir can I ask a question?"

"Yes,"

"What is the most powerful technique?" he asked.

"Well, that depends on you exactly. On how you manage and manipulate your techniques. You all need to train in Martial arts too. One can also defeat a technique user by a martial arts user so don't underestimate your enemies." Sir Braun explained.
