Alchemist Association

Carrying the crates as they followed Xuan made Ren and Kniel sweaty. The others were carrying the same crates but had different contents.

"Seriously, where are we bringing these crates?" asked Ren while gritting his teeth. He was expressing a pained look as he was carrying those. Others were not exempted from the burden.

"You will see it soon," Xuan stared in his direction then winked.

They can only pout at how vague his reply was. Others wanted to surrender as they couldn't feel their hands anymore. It was heavy indeed!

They soon arrived at the tall building with a plaque made of wood. Having inscriptions on it.

"Welcome to the Alchemy guild!" Xuan said in a welcoming tone.

They stepped on the steps upwards of the building and were welcomed by several apprentices.

"We welcome our honored guests! What can we help you with dear sirs?" asked one robed apprentice. He bowed slightly with arms in his front.

Xuan then coughed and finally spoke, "We would like to submit new formulas of medicines as well as business proposals,"

The apprentices stared at each other and then finally nodded.

"This way sirs," the apprentice said to them.

They soon saw an old man who was white in his hair as well as garments. He then stopped after they saw them walking towards him.

"This is Master Wertham, he is a master alchemist," he introduced him to them.

"You can leave now, I will take care of them," Wertham said to his apprentices.

"We must take our leave then, please excuse us," he said to his master as well as the others. They went to the inner halls and left them to their master.

"Ahem, greetings Master Wertham. We are students of the Academy. I have new medicinal formulas that we would like to give to the alchemy guild. Please verify the authenticity of the potions kind sir," Xuan bowed a little.

"Oh, a young one that has manners. How many youths these days remained, just like you?" he said to him while caressing his beard.

"With my utmost respect to great elder," Xuan said to him.

"Hmmm, I like your attitude already. Now, let us go to the alchemy lab. I will show you the way," Wertham about faced and walked towards the halls. They followed him and Wertham started to speak.

"Many young ones preferred to fight on the front lines of battles. Only a few were passionate like you to delve into alchemy. Well, we can't help it and it is only natural these days. The kingdom needed armies to fight the common enemy," he said to them when they entered the spacious room full of glass vials and test tubes. It was none other than their laboratory.

They soon put the crates on the table and Xuan started his demonstration.

"Ahem, so these are the new potion formulas that I have mentioned to your apprentice. Healing potion, Stamina potion, Qi potion, Physique cultivating pill, and Cultivation pill. The formula on how to make them is here," Xuan handed him several pages of paper.

"Healing potion? The one that can heal wounds? That is still a myth even now!" he was flabbergasted and surprised by the mere thought.

"Yes! And not only that!" Xuan said to him with an energetic tone.

"The alchemy association only brews trifling concoctions. Like Blood refilling potion, Monster attractant, and repellent, Smell concealing potion, Poison potion, Tear gas potion, Paralysis potion, Cauterizing potion, and Antidote potion," he paused then hastily spoke, "I must verify them all at once! Please give me a moment," He said then tried each.

He grabbed a cultivating pill and ate it. Making him immediately feel the surge of cultivation essence from his body. It was actually working!

Also, he tried the physique-cultivating pill and gained 1 strength. It also works like the cultivation pill.

He then grabbed the healing potion and stabbed his finger with a needle. Making him inhale air as he does and small drops of blood ooze out. He drank it and to his surprise, it healed.

He drank the stamina and mana potions and he was surprised by the effects.

"Oh my! Blood herb? Does it actually have that use? This one is called stamina herb and mana herb. This is groundbreaking! This could help humanity greatly!" he said as he scanned the formula on the papers.

He immediately ran towards Xuan and he was sweaty. They can only look at him in fright as to what could have happened to him.

"It all works! Hahaha! Thank you so much!" he ran towards Xuan and hugged him then lifted him slightly.

Xuan then felt uncomfortable and so he let go of him.

"I gave you the formula, I hope I can get at least 20 percent of its profit. That's the price of the recipe that I gave," Xuan said to him.

"Of course! You can even have 30 if you want! As well as make us your benefactor! We can't let something happen to you," Wertham said to him.

"Well, we are all glad to be of help. Right guys?" Xuan said to them.

"Yes!"

"Yep,"

"Hmmm!"

They soon went to about-face but Wertham gave Xuan on his hands. Insignia of the alchemy guild.

"This insignia will let you be in a position of VIP of Alchemy guild. That will give you the same respect and a sign that you are a master alchemist. Do use it wisely," Wertham then smiled.

"I will greatly treasure this," Xuan then bowed slightly.

They then immediately left and exited the building.

"Wow, so you are a master alchemist now!" Kilin said with an astonished expression.

"That 30 percent profit will be divided equally to us. We must raise our families from debts first," Xuan said to them.

"Dude, we are not wealthy but we have no debts either! You needed that money more than us!" Kniel said to him, patting his shoulders.

"Thank you guys for all your support," Xuan replied in a low tone.

"We are brothers here! To death, we will accompany you!" Ren said then punched him on his shoulders.

"Then let us get stronger! Let's do one step at a time." Xuan said to them.
