Simon's Regrets

With unwavering determination and a keen sense of the importance of stealth and caution, Simon chose the path of extreme prudence. He decided to circumvent the ominous and grotesque military figures by quietly and methodically making his way around the rear of the pharmacy. Every single movement was deliberate, and every second step was taken with the utmost care to avoid possible detection.

Simon's unwavering determination and resourcefulness led him to the long-awaited discovery of Saphire and Lucas, who had previously been kept in the storage room of the local pharmacy. Relief washed over him as soon as he saw the children, and he quickly handed them essential rations, ensuring that they had enough sustenance for the journey back to the safety of the entire group.

Indeed, Saphire and Lucas, having endured the terrors and uncertainties of their abduction, now found themselves in the comforting presence of Simon, despite the likely fear and uncertainty that still clung to them.

As Simon and the children prepared to make their way back to the group, a sudden and ominous presence descended upon them in the form of the spider mutant. The mutant's appearance was both menacing and abrupt, catching them off guard.

With astonishing speed and unexpected strength, the mutant confronted Simon, moving with a swiftness that belied its grotesque form. In a heart-stopping moment, it slammed Simon against the wall with incredible force, rendering him incapacitated and leaving the children in a state of shock and fear.

The spider mutant, with a disturbing and calculated intent, forcefully administered oxycodone to Simon. The potent drug rapidly took effect, plunging him into a sleep trance. As the medication overwhelmed his system, Simon's struggles to breathe and regain consciousness became increasingly futile.

The room, now engulfed in a chilling silence, was haunted by the disturbing spectacle of Simon's incapacitation.

Frightened and desperate, Saphire and Lucas, acutely aware of their vulnerable situation, pleaded with the spider mutant to return to the safety of the hotel. Saphire's deteriorating health cast an additional layer of urgency over their heartfelt entreaty. Their young voices quivered with fear and concern.

However, the spider mutant, growing increasingly agitated and distressed, seemed to lose control of her temper.

As the realization dawned on the children that the spider mutant was, in fact, their mother, a mix of emotions overcame them. Joy at being reunited with their mother was intermingled with concern for her well-being and her transformation.

Mytia awoke in a cold sweat, her heart pounding, and a sense of foreboding in the air. She turned to find Simon's side of the bed empty, and a wave of panic washed over her. Struggling to compose herself, she hastily got up, her mind racing.

In her urgent quest to find answers, Mytia sought out Catherine, her voice trembling as she approached her in the morning light. With a sense of desperation, she exclaimed, "Simon is g-gone, and I c-can't find him!"
