Little Princess

"Ethan's money has nothing to do with why we broke up," I glared at Wilhelm. It felt like an insult that he suggested I left Ethan because of his financial status. "I have my own money to live the way I want to."

He let out the most annoying, skin crawling chuckle I had ever heard, "Doesn't look like it to me. Your Daddy's the richest man alive, why would you want to drag yourself down with a farmer's son?"

"I've known Ethan my whole life," I defended, "I've known him longer than he knows you. He knows why I'm in love with him. I don't have to prove anything to you."

"Oh but I think you do," he smacked his lips together and took a massive gulp of his wine.

"Wil, you have to stop," Denise begged as he shook his head.

"I think our little princess here deserves to know the truth," he laughed and looked at Ethan, whose skin had paled so much I grew concerned.

"It is not your place," Ethan growled.
