"You're making the biggest mistake of your life and you're still defending him," Wilhelm glared, "Only two years ago you barely had enough money in your account to pay the mortgage and we had to scrape together to help you pay for something you could barely afford from the beginning."

A flare of anger spiked up from my chest but I let out a deep exhale to calm myself down, "I could afford it, I just didn't make it my top priority."

"But buying him little designer boots and handbags that he probably wore once were more important," he scoffed, "He's brainwashed you and you are unable to see it. Why would you do this to yourself Ethan? There are plenty of other beautiful women who can be just like him."

"I've known him my entire life," I frowned, "I don't want anyone else."
