Childish Decision

Demyan

"Demyan, why can't you just pick me?" he kneeled down next to me and took my hand in his. He planted multiple kisses at the back of my palm before he pressed my hand against his heart, "I'll do anything to make you happy."

"Then let's try this thing with Malia first," I sighed.

His face instantly fell as he twisted his lip, "Anything but that."

"Ethan, it's the only way to know if you're serious about me or if I'm just wasting my time."

"I'm not going to let our relationship be determined by a child," he glared, "She's twenty-two. What business does he know about our relationship? It's a childish decision and it's not going to work out."

I pulled my hand out of his, "It's funny you say that because when I talk to her she makes more sense. When I was twenty-two you thought I was old enough for you to marry but when it comes to Malia she's a child. You're quite the hypocrite."

"You're mature," he stressed.
