Little Angry Cub

Ethan

"Demyan," I pushed at his chest as I tried to stand up but he held me firmly down.

"You still love me," he pressed a gentle kiss to the corner of my mouth, "I can see it in the way you look at me. Dammit, Ethan, sometimes it feels like we can barely breathe next to each other. I've missed you so much."

I shook my head quickly and ripped his arms off me. I walked to the other end of the room and pressed my hand over my heart as I tried to breathe the pain away. Demyan was playing with my emotions. "You can't mourn Malia then switch over and claim to miss me," I snapped, "You're drunk and it's either you sober up or I send you to Vasilisa's. I'm not going to let a drunk be around my daughter."
