How have they grown?

"Look it's them, the demon kids." One bystander in the village said as the triplets walked past her shop,

"Shh. You mustn't say such things out loud, it's forbidden." another said nearby,

"They're also the forth hokage's…" Another started before being cut off

"That is forbidden! You mustn't say another word" the other said, the three continued their walk forwards ignoring the whispers, a few paces away, Hinata watched them walk from behind a Hyuga sidebranch adult who had taken her to the shops to go shopping. Whispers seeming to follow the triplets even as they continued to walk away, passing a young Shikamaru looking confused as he stood behind Shikaku, the adult just sighing as he watched the kids. Finally, the whispers had grown to be too much for the three five yr olds, Katsuo turning around rapidly, his blonde hair blowing slightly in the breeze he'd generated,

"I'll be hokage one day! And you'll all be sorry!" Katsuo yelled before the three ran off, the whispers continuing even after they'd gone.

"Why are they treated so poorly? Dad? Katsuo, Kohana, and Kanae" Shikamaru asked that night at dinner and Shikaku hummed,

"Let me ask you this Shikamaru, what do YOU think of the triplets." Shikaku asked instead, and Shikamaru hummed

"Well, Katsuo is kinda annoying, actually all of them can be kinda annoying. I don't think we'd ever be best friends, but I don't want to shut them out either." Shikamaru answered and Shikaku nodded,

"Then do what makes you happy." Shikaku stated.

"Katsuo!!! Kanae!! Kohana!!! We are going to find you!" Jonin yelled as they scoured the city for the three Uzumaki triplets, the three having turned 11 just a little while ago, and were always getting into all sorts of mischief together. The kids didn't want to play with them and the adults would all stare at them with contempt and fear, but they could care less. Getting yelled at was better than being ignored. Anything. Was better than being ignored, and with Kohana's knack for ninjutsu, hiding from the Jonin and then running was pretty easy. Kohana and Kanae often got mistook for eachother being identical twins, they both had bright blonde hair with light red strands running through it like highlights. Kanae wore her hair in two braids behind her head, wearing blue shorts and a white shirt, the land of fire symbol on the front with goggles over her forehead. Kohana wore her hair in two pigtails on either side of her head, a blue dress with white shorts underneath, with goggles just before her bangs, holding them in place. Naruto wore a white shirt and blue shorts, the land of fire symbol on the back of his clothes. The three snickered, they'd drawn on the side of another building using red paint, well, Naruto did, Kohana was look out and Kanae held the bucket. The ninja had gone way too far, they wouldn't find them at this point.

"That was too easy hahaha" Naruto said before someone could be heard jumping behind them,

"Really? I thought you'd give us ninja some more credit triple trouble." Rin said and the triplets jumped, startled, having not seen Rin before she jumped down, placinig her hands on Katsuo's and then on Kanae's shoulders, resting her chin on Kohana's head.

"You three are going to go clean what you've just painted." Rin said, dragging them back to the building they'd painted, all three of them cleaning the paint. Rin switching out with Iruka as she had a mission and had to report to the hokage right away.

"If you ask me the paint really made the building pop. It looked better than that boring old gray color." Kanae said

"I agree, you really brought out the buildings color Katsuo." Kohana said quietly, and Katsuo hummed proud of his work,

"Yeah! Well! Nobody asked you runts!" The store clerk yelled at them and the triplets all scoffed together,

"Maybe we should do it again! Nuahhh!" Katsuo said, the other two agreeing before Iruka forced their heads down, in apology, the store clerk scoffed before returning to his duties.

"Can you three please ease up on the pranks, I mean the graduation exam is soon right?" Iruka said kneeling down, he was the only adult aside from the ramen guy to treat them even remotely human.

"Whatever, it's not like they're gonna stop so why should we?" Kanae said the other two nodding in solidarity with their sister. Iruka sighing,

"There's three of you, can't you guys do something productive together instead of destructive?" Iruka asked and the three shook their heads, causing the man to once again, sigh as he looked at them. The kids of the fourth hokage, not that they were permitted to know that information, and with Naruto being the current jinchuriki to the 9tailed fox, the chakra difference was staggering. Especially because all three of them seemed to have the same reserve for chakra, and the tailed beast chakra reacted to all three of them. Which was likely due to the fact they were born mere minutes apart, and so on.

"Haha!!! This is gonna look so good! The fifth hokage! Katsuo Uzumaki!" Kohana said as the three painted the rock right next to the hokage faces, Katsuo painting a round sloppy red circle, with Kanae painting on blue whiskers, and Kohana writing in katakana above the picture. 'The best hokage!' writing in Kanji below 'Katsuo Uzumaki!' both were written in blue paint. Katsuo drawing in the eyes in red paint with Kanae drawing the iris's in blue paint with Katsuo drawing the mouth, when they were done, the painting was as large as the fourth hokage's face, paint dripping from where it'd yet to dry.

"What are you three doing?" Iruka said as he'd jumped to the top of Hokage mountain, startling the three who were then ordered to clean the mountain in exchange Iruka would buy the three of them Ichiraku.

"It's not like there's anyone at home waiting. Let's do this guys." Katsuo said and the three grinned to each other

"So why do you three keep pulling pranks on the village, don't you understand how important the hokage mountain is?" Iruka asked and the three

looked over

"Well, obviously. That's why we did it." Kanae said rolling her eyes

"I don't follow." Iruka said simply, as Kanae took a bite of her food, Kohana doing the same

"Well, I'm gonna be hokage one day, and I'm gonna be better than all the hokage before even the forth hokage. That way, the village will stop disrespecting us, and treat us with respect. Treat me like I'm somebody important. Ya know." Katsuo said moving his goggles a moment,

"I'm sure you will… but you need to stop with these pranks, Katsuo. Kohana, Kanae." Iruka said

"The village won't be nice otherwise. We don't like being ignored and with the pranks they can't ignore us." Kohana said stirring the noodles around, and Iruka glanced over 'they have eachother… yet… they're excluded from everything by everyone, some shopkeepers won't even let them inside, it's not like it's any better at school…' he thought looking at the sullen looks on the kids faces.

"Iruka sensei, how come the villagers hate us? Sometimes it looks like they want to kill us, how come? I don't understand what we did wrong." Kohana said she was the more sensitive and shy one of the three, a lot less likely to start trouble, but she would most definitely join in.

"I'm sure they don't hate you, but maybe stopping the pranks would help?" Iruka lied, he wasn't allowed to tell them the real reason behind the malicious looks, under orders from the third hokage. Who wanted to suppress information relating to the nine tailed attack 11 years ago. Where not only Iruka's parents, but the triplets parents (4th hokage, and Kushina uzumaki), the third hokage's wife, at least half a dozen jonin and chunin were all killed. It was painful for the adults to talk about but even so, Iruka disagreed with not informing the three on who their parents were, names, not just, 'oh your parents were good people', he disagreed with not telling them why they don't have parents. But he was in no position to question the hokage, not when he was just a jonin, and pretty low on the totem pole at that. So for now, he'd just make sure the triplets behaved at school, and at the very least didn't get into fights on school grounds.
