A large wooden ship pulled up to the shore, about thirty meters away from the last wreckage. Immediately, people began to drop down from the island, and hands started to wave in the direction of others.
Lince and Zon didn't move forward, neither did Beatrix. Instead, it was Raze who ventured forward and approached the others.
"Raze, you're okay!" Safa exclaimed, rushing toward him. She hesitated for a moment, unsure whether to force a hug on him.
However, rather than push her away, Raze did something unexpected. He lifted his arms, almost as if inviting her in.
Safa took the opportunity and rushed into his embrace, holding onto him tightly. After everything that had happened—the truth about her real brother—Safa just wanted to stay close to Raze.
"Thank you for still being here… thank you for still being alive. I thought I might have lost you," Safa whispered.
Though uncomfortable, Raze accepted it and tried to bear with it.
