The Deleter known as Shay, a Pagna warrior who belonged to the Noctis Clan, was battling against the Dark Magus. She had heard the countless tales about this man, and about the skills he had used.

From the description alone, she knew that the techniques that were being used were the Dark Edge sword arts. These were techniques that only the Noctis Clan members should know. So the question had popped into her mind at the time.

Why was there someone that knew about the techniques? After all this time, what were they doing? Were they someone like her? Someone who had been hiding this entire time, away from the troubles and now coming back they were ready to strike.

She had somewhat believed that might have been the case, especially after hearing how they had taken over the Dark Faction. She knew that was the first of her goals in her mind, but when seeing Raze, she knew instantly, that the Dark Magus, wasn't anyone belonging to the clan, no one that she knew.
