Raze Cromwell was one who had suffered his entire life. A cruel upbringing that had forced his nature to turn sour. In order to survive, he did everything and anything he could, eventually giving him the name Dark Magus. A title that was only given to the very best of mages.

The five Supreme Magus had gathered to eliminate the great Raze, on his last legs, the Dark Magus had one more trick up his sleeve. Activating a forbidden spell, he finds himself living in another world, a world full of martial artists. A world where one could destroy mountain tops with their fist, but Magic still exists in the new world, and he’s the only one that knows about it.

Dark Magus Returns

Raze already knew the answer to the question based on the way everyone was reacting, including that of Liam.

He was expecting it, and unlike many others, he had lost those that he cared about many times before. However, it didn't make the experience any easier, it just made one somewhat used to the pain.

After saying those words, Liam was shaking, his whole body was bracing itself for Raze to either hit him, or blast him away with some type of magic.

Right now, he wouldn't even mind if his entire body had perished. Yet, Raze did no such thing.

"He protected both of you," Raze answered. "He did so at the cost of his life right…that damned…that damned idiot."

Looking at the ground, there was a smile on his face, as if he couldn't believe the situation, or that someone like that would have done such a thing.

"Why didn't you listen to my other order, I said to not die yourself either," Raze mumbled to himself.
