Rama was the first to move. He approached the sealed stone embedded in the far wall of the chamber. It didn't resemble a typical door even though it looks like a door. There was no rectangular frame, hinges or handles. Instead, it was a smooth circular slab of stone with a single narrow slit running down its center.
Etched into its surface was a faded emblem of a black raven perched on a tombstone, encircled by what might've once been thorns or twisting veins. Time had eroded much of the detail making the image now nearly lost.
"I think this is a door to the next room," Rama said, eyes narrowed.
Axel and Shoji paused in their own search, glancing around the crumbling mausoleum. Aside from the central chamber they were already in there was no other visible exit or hallway.
They trusted Rama's instincts. He'd always had a strange intuition about something like this.
"Alright," Shoji said. "Let's open it."
