Pain, rage, struggle, and blood honed a sword.

A being who seems to weave the threads of fate.

Does he truly exist, or is he merely a manifestation of another's will?
If he does exist, what purpose does he serve?
Is there really a purpose, or is it just another will imposed upon him?
If it is another's will, can he defy it?
Can he turn his sword against his creator,
A being who literally writes his reality?

Or will he be consumed by the abyss from which his power flows,
Forever lost in the shifting void of his own making?

Edwin was told by Dex that he too wasn't aware of whether the man would return or not, but since the query was brought up only with the intention of changing the topic, Edwin didn't bother lingering on that topic much and began to ponder over the changes that had happened with him after Dex left and Edwin then noticed that there was this strange empty feeling within that kept bothering him…..

It felt as if a part of his soul was missing…. He couldn't quite put a finger on that strangely empty feeling, but he could tell that something had gone wrong, and something of great importance about himself was missing.

And with that, he noticed that his [Last Life]'s system interface was also missing.

The newer version of the system hadn't only popped up in front of Edwin, but quite a few number of people, and one of them was hidden in the shadows of an extremely luxurious bedroom where a beautiful couple were seen sleeping peacefully.
