Good Morning

The intimacy between him and Melanie was carried away to the dreamland. In his imagination, they took a lovely vacation to Maldives. They sailed on a yacht across the beautiful blue ocean.

He saw they held hands on the deck. Melanie smiled and looked deep into his eyes until those brown irises suddenly changed into a seductive look as she was getting closer.

Chu~

In the movies, they were supposed to kiss after that. But why didn't that happen to them? Trevor suddenly felt cold water run down his face instead.

"Why is it raining in such a sunny day?" He asked Melanie who also looked clueless.

He was splashed with more water.

"What the hell--"

Just as he looked up at the sky, he gasped in an instant. Because instead of a cloudy sky, he saw the face of Amanda Claire up there. The physical training special agent looked down at him with her iconic poker face.

"Wake up now. Before I throw you into the real blue oceans!"

That's when the reality really hit him. He looked around. He saw that he was still in his bedroom with Melanie who was still hugging his body

"Why are you up so early, Trev? It's Sunday, isn't it?"

The woman was disturbed from her sleep, then slowly opened her eyes. Her irises widened instantly when she spotted a stranger looking at them who were still naked on the bed.

"W-Who is she? Y-You said you don't have a girlfriend?!" she cried frantically.

"S-She is not!" Trevor asserted quickly before the woman misunderstood him. "T-This is, s-she, um, she is my, my, ah, she is my cousin. Hehe...."

"W-What? Really?"

The problem is it was still too early. Everything was still a bit dark out there. It was not a good time to visit your relative.

But more than that, Trevor was concerned at how this woman could be here. As long as he remembered, he didn't even tell her his address -- let alone the password.

"Change into your tracksuit now and meet me in the park below," said the college girl. She ignored their discomfort reaction to her.

"B-But--"

"No buts. If I say now, then it must be now. Don't let me kick your ass for real."

The special agent left the room after saying that. Meanwhile, Trevor and Melanie were still confused by her sudden presence and bitter attitude.

"Your cousin is so rude," Melanie commented.

Trevor chuckled awkwardly. "Yes, she always is."

He suggested Melanie to sleep more, while he had to change clothes to fulfill Amanda's command. The woman held him down at first and asked him to stay with her. But no matter how tempted Trevor was to cuddle with her, he had to resist the urge.

"But I still don't understand. How she could just walk into my apartment like that? I mean, I never even told her about this building or unit, let alone the security code?" He grumbled while putting on his favorite sports shoes.

Silent.

There was no answer at all from his virtual assistant. When he checked his navigator watch, it was indeed disabled.

[Ding!]

[VIRTUAL ASSISTAN MODE HAS BEEN ACTIVATED.]

"Welcome back, AI T? Sorry for ignoring you last night," said Trevor, chuckling. "I missed you a bit you know,"

'Doesn't seem like that.' AI T's response was curt. 'Regarding your question earlier, that was a natural thing for a special agent like her, sir. She can track you with her navigator watch, one of them to know your apartment password as well. That's one of the advantages provided by the Mastermind for the special agents."

"What? But that's totally unfair. It violates my privacy!" Trevor protested. "I am against this one!"

'Just accept it, sir. Because that ability is given to make it easier to train you. After all, she comes when you are done with everything you did with that woman. She won't interfere in your private life as long as you carry out your training and missions properly.'

"But--"

'I also suggest you do not clash with her too much, sir. You have to be careful with her. Because if she gets angry and leaves you during the training, then you will be in big trouble. Because the special agents are the only ones in this system who can help you. Without them, you will never be able to sharpen your skills to the highest level -- ever.'

Well, Trevor agreed with AI T's words. After all, regardless of how life he lives, all of that was no more important than his main mission to win the game. He must get his revenge on Frederick Dunn no matter what.

"Well, then. Let's go. Let's do this."

After he put on the sneakers, Trevor rushed to meet Amanda as soon as possible.

Trevor arrived at the garden of the apartment building. He saw Amanda Claire was already waiting there. But strangely instead of wearing sports clothes like him, the woman looked comfy in her pajamas and a hoodie.

"You are taking so long. How are you going to improve if you keep being slow," she grumbled when he saw Trevor.

"I am sorry," Trevor said curtly.

"Okay. Now I want you to run here, around the garden. " the agent said after that.

"Huh?" Trevor was a little surprised. "I thought we would jump right into learning Krav Maga."

"You are still too slow and weak to be taught martial arts right away. You still need to practice before we get to that stage." Amanda answered in a disturbed tone. "I want you to work harder on your muscles, and I want to keep track of your speed because we need to keep improving it."

Trevor nodded his head. "Okay. I got it."

"Oh yeah, how about the gym equipment I ordered. You will be buying them soon right? Luckily, you already have a big apartment so you can choose one of the rooms as a gym room."

"Not yet, but I have raised enough money to buy some of the needed equipment."

"Good. The sooner the better. Also, I want you to tidy up the one empty room that is beside yours."

Trevor frowned. "What for?"

"Of course for me to live in. That way it will be easier for me to train you, so the results will come faster."

Trevor seemed a little bothered to hear that. "B-But--"

"I said no buts." She cut him off. "Don't protest too much. You have wasted too much time at the JO level. If you keep this up it could take years until you are strong enough to face the enemy king. Make up your mind to win instead of doing unnecessary things."

Yeah, Amanda had a point. If only she conveyed it better.

"Okey, I will follow your words, sensei. So what should I do now? Running around the garden?" He asked while trying to hold back the annoyance in his heart.

"Yes. I will take note of your speed and stamina. So don't keep pissing me off. Prove me wrong with my judgment on you."

With that, Trevor started running.

"I know that she has good intentions, but I still don't accept her treatment. Not to mention the fact that a girl who is younger than me seems to keep bossing me around and snapping at me. Couldn't she have spoken better?" grumbled Trevor as he ran.

'Be patient, sir. She did that maybe so you can focus more on training.'

"I don't know. Soon she might be moving in with me too. How can I always put up with her treatment? I am afraid that at some point I will start to get impatient."

'That's what you should avoid, sir. You should always maintain a good relationship with her no matter what. Besides, I am sure your relationship with her will get better once you get closer later.'

Can it happen? Honestly, Trevor wasn't even sure.
