Third person point of view
The next day, Cecil woke up with a terrible headache. He wanted to be able to unscrew his head off his neck and put it aside for a while. It was feeling particularly heavy. But there was no time for rest, he still had things to do. He got out of bed and quickly got his things done. He didn't have anything for breakfast as he had a headache.
He went to the office still feeling pretty bad. He shouldn't have drank on a whim. He went to his cabin and took a tablet for the headache. He sat back with closed eyes. It was slowly starting to work on his body and he gradually felt more human. He signed a few documents he had to and got to work. He started by drawing the rough sketches of the suits for the both of them.
He didn't want it to be too over the top like his previous one. So he decided to make something in his own style. He started by designing Aaron's suit. He finished the sketch and cracked his neck. He continued to draw more details and gave a few touches. He picked up a notepad and noted down a few things.
Next he started by designing his. It would be similar to Aaron's since it was for wedding but in his own measurements and mirror image colors. He was able to finish it pretty quickly. He then noted down a few more things. He called for his assistant. Lexy walked in and looked at the designs. " They're nice. Wedding style ? " She gave the cup of coffee to Cecil.
Cecil thanked her and nodded. " Are they really good ? " Lexy nodded. " They look pretty to me ". Cecil nodded. If she said so, then it has to be. He put the cup on the table and picked up the notepad. He tore the page out of it and handed it to Lexy. " I want to get these materials as soon as possible ". Lexy scanned it and nodded slowly.
She looked up at Cecil. " Sure. Quick ? " It was their own code language. The question means if Cecil's right away is right away. Cecil nodded. " Quick ". She nodded back. " Done ". Lexy walked out with the paper. Cecil drank his coffee while looking at the design. He did his best, but he didn't know if it was good enough.
He made small changes to make it more perfect in his own eyes and felt better. He put it aside and finished his coffee. He then went to finish other things related to his work. In the next two days, he got all the materials he asked for. Lexy was very efficient in her work. He quickly rolled up his sleeves to start.
He never really made a lot of them himself but only designed most of the time. There were only a few products which were manufactured in bulk and machine made. For remaining all he had people personally make them wanting to give employment and he also preferred it that way. That bit of human touch to things was definitely nice.
Cecil quickly laid out the material and cracked his knuckles. He has a long way to go. His back was sore by the time he was done. He sat down with a huff. He was done cutting all the pieces and put them in bunches. He put them all aside carefully. He did feel tired than usual as he didn't do this much by himself in a while.
Aaron got an appointment with the minister at the earliest possible. He also thought that it would be bad to drag on for too long and decided to get it done at the soonest. He went to talk to him at a hotel. He entered the private room. The minister was already there. He stood up and extended his hand. Aaron shook it and moved away.
" Please sit down ". The minister said gesturing to the chair. They both sat down diagonal from each other. " I have no intention of beating around the bush. I am sorry for what happened. But I hope you will understand and not hold any grudge against them or us. I don't think the minister is a narrow minded person and I definitely owe you for this ". Aaron gave a smile.
The minister also gave a small smile. " Honestly speaking, even my daughter wasn't that happy with that marriage, but obeyed my words. Now that it is like this, she is focusing on her career. So I have no particular reason to hold a grudge against anyone on this matter. So it is fine. There is nothing you owe me ". Aaron smiled.
" Thank you for the understanding ". The minister smiled too. " And I am indeed flattered that you personally came to apologize ". Aaron chuckled. " Of course I should, since it concerns me. And we will be getting married in the coming days. So I hope you give us your blessings ". The minister nodded.
" That is some great news. Congratulations ". Aaron smiled. " Thank you so much ". " Your grandfather must be delighted ". Aaron laughed. " He very much is ". The minister also chuckled. " I bet ". Aaron smiled. He thought about how he saw his grandfather talking enthusiastically about the arrangements with his parents.
He picked up the glass to took a sip of water. " I am assuming the preparations are going well ". Aaron looked up at the minister and nodded putting the glass back in its place. " Yes. They are. And I need to apologize again, as it is going to be a something between our families and we are thinking about no one else being invited ".
The minister nodded in understanding. " I understand. Please convey my wishes to everyone and you can be rest assured ". Aaron stood up. " Thank you sir ". The minister smiled and stood up too. " I will make sure to send you a gift ". Aaron chuckled. " Thanks in advance ". The minister laughed. They shook hands again and Aaron left the place.
