Into the maw 2

The passage leads to a dark corridor of what once was the base. Dark and crumbling by the moment, the walls struggle to keep the ceiling above in place. Going back to the previous room, and trying to climb back still is possible, but a feeling tells him to go deeper.

The air becomes thinner in the deepest parts of the hall. The hall lacks any other passage. Doors either collapsed, broken, or jammed. The collapse destroyed every part of this place, maybe it is a dead end, or at the end of the hall lies a passage to a new room or open area.

However, it doesn't change the raw truth of the situation: "It is a bad idea to go deeper." While dangerous and not fruitful, the only path available without making the already weakened structure fall apart is going in a straight line.
