The world still spins

Mary had slept hours ago. Yraka had too, maybe. Before the giant could sleep, and broke the door, Kyrie had asked to go out of the room. A grumble has the answer, but the fairy didn't oppose it.

Sleeping is hard, but knowing what happened in the months he was away, no matter how summarized, is too much to tackle. Lily still is alive and has hope he will return, Spencer and the others were okay the last time Mary had contact with them.

Yet okay doesn't mean they are in a safe spot or anywhere close to one, just means they are holding out and will do so for the foreseeable future. A stark difference between they are "safe".

In the base, they weren't safe, not in the slightest when one uses the privilege of hindsight, yet they were "okay". Too much to absorb. There are no skies inside the prison, just the grey hue of the ceiling.
