Kyrie's eyes feel heavier than before, struggling to keep themselves open. The blood loss finally catches on to him, the kid raging and attacking. Kyrie doesn't react to his attack, accepting them in stride.

It was his mistake, and it is his duty to rectify it. Make the child feel safe, and endure this storm better than he endured it. 'I know how it is to be all alone in this place. Just accept it already, brat. It will keep you warm.' The kid is not in a much better position than him.

A part of him screamed and raged at him, begging to end the child before his eyes, a deep-seated sense of rejection upon gazing at the redhead, but Kyrie held back because he had made a mistake. He would not allow his vision to be dulled again.
