"Even the heavens knows I'm in a good mood today", Leonard exclaimed excitedly standing by the window gazing at the bustling streets,he kept hoping Aunt Miley would not dissuade Mia and she would transfer the share as agreed.

After waiting for a long while, he was at the verge of losing hope when the door opened, Mia donning a red velvet gown entered escorted by her family's lawyer .

Leonard could finally sigh in relief.

After exchanging pleasantries they got down to business.

The lawyer presented the documents and warned Mia for the nth time about the risk involved in transferring all her shares to him all in the name of love.

Mia hesitated for a while remembering her Aunt Miley warnings.

"You want to transfer your share to him ,you two are just engaged not married yet what if he find another woman and dump you".

She and her Aunt Miley argued for quite a while the previous day but she trusted and believed in Leonard,he was not such a despicable person and they both love each other so there was no reason for him to betray her. after a long while Aunt Miley finally agreed and called for the lawyer .

"This is my choice Mr Alfredo "she answered and asked for a pen.

"Alright ",the lawyer replied and passed her the pen and they both scribbled their signatures on the papers.

Leona sighed in relief once the document had been duly signed by both parties,seeing the signatures on the documents he was so excited and nearly jumped up in excitement .

"Thanks a lot Mia,this means so much to me", he embraced her excitedly as the lawyer exit the office.

"No need to thank me Leonard,we should always support each other as a couple ", Mia interrupted him .

"Yes, I make you proud very soon", Leonard replied assuringly,as the strong sense of determination pervades his soul.

"Sir,it's time for the meeting "his assistant announced.

"Alright, go ahead then", Mia replied.

" Okay call me when you're done at work, I'll pick you", Leonard answered and embraced her before they parted.

O'Connor's Residence.

Eddie was sprawled on the cushion with a triumphant look plastered on her face , twirling the USB in her hands excitedly.

" I finally got the evidence,I finally got the footage,your end is near Mia", Eddie exclaimed happily sipping on her wine.

" The only remaining job is to create a scene,a very huge scene to reveal the footage".

Just as she was about to insert the USB in her laptop to check the content, her private line bleated checking the caller ID she smiled, it was none other than Leonard.

"Eddie, guess what?, Leonard said excitedly from the other end of the phone.

"You seem to be in a good mood today,just tell me what the happy occasion is?", Eddie replied equally excited.

"Mia just transferred all her shares to me", Leonard revealed unable to hide his grin.

"What !,are you kidding me ?", Eddie stood up immediately, surprised at his words.

"Of course,I'm not joking the lawyer just left few minutes ago,I am now the highest shareholder of the O'Connor corporation ", Leonard announced stunning Eddie into silence.

"Wow,this is unbelievable", Eddie exclaimed surprised at what she heard.

Yes, now all I have to do is to merge the two companies together, with the power of the O'Connor corporation I can gather allies to defeat Lucian and fulfill my dreams", Leonard replied.

"This is great ,let me know if you need help ,I'll try my best to be of help", Eddie answered.

"You don't need to stress yourself ,your duty is to care of my heart anyway let's go out tonight ,this calls for celebration we'll meet at the usual place", Leonard suggested.

"Alright dear", Eddie replied and ended the call,her face broke into a huge grin.

"This is more this is getting more interesting ".she smirked.

Mark arrived in the country later in the evening,he headed to the Henderson group of conglomerate to report the outcome of the trip he went to concerning the company and also check on "their" progress at least now that Mia knew Leonardo was cheating on her she should be together with Lucian right.

But he was surprised when he got to the company,everywhere was shrouded with a mist of anger.The employee were nervous and shaking in fright while working afraid the boss might get angry again.

Mark was surprised witnessing their reaction as he stepped in,he could tell Lucian was angry but why, hasn't he and Mia gotten together or what .

Debunking his thought,he made his way to Lucian's office.

Inside Lucian's elegantly decorated office,Lucian stood by his favourite spot by the window glancing down at the busy street, his fingers clenched into a tight fist the cold and frightening aura around him suffused the whole room.

BANG!

The flower vase was sent crashing onto the floor, stopping Mark from opening the door as he stood behind the door.

"Lucian, you don't have to beat yourself up this is her decision not yours,she trusted him blindly and transferred all her shares to him,so she'll bear the consequences herself", Emily held his hands trying to comfort him.

"It's my fault,if I paid enough attention this wouldn't have happened. . "

"Shh", Emily held his lips to stop him from talking."You've done way too much for her,okay so why if you found out she was going to transfer her shares to Leonard and warned her do you think she'll listen,she'll just slam you like she did the other day, calling you the bad guy, you should let go such a woman is not worthy of your love".

"Emily", Lucian rested his head on her shoulder."thank you for always being there".

"It's okay", Emily assured him.

Mark stood outside the door, dumbfounded by the revelation.

So after disclosing the truth to Mia not only did she not believe him and the evidences,she also dare to slam Lucian.

"Today I'm going to show her the indisputable evidence and see if she will believe Leonard blindly", Mark clenched his hands and dashed out of the towering building.
