The Beginning of a Start

"Where should I start? First, I'll explain what's happening with the last descendants of the dragon clan... All of us are being cursed, an attack that comes from an unknown source but limits us to many things to the point that the only way out is death." The old dragon closed his eyes tightly as if recalling something extremely painful.

"Eons ago, the Creator God grew tired of building countless planets and realms. For his final works, he created six pristine but imperfect planar worlds and merged them into a cube, stabilizing their delicate balances."

The dragon who said this felt his breath weaker and murmured, "Our worlds, for this reason, are known as the Six-Faced-Universe. Then that same God created six lesser gods to watch over these creations, giving each of them power over one world, namely: God of the Sea, Dragon God, Beast God, Human God, Sky God, and Demon God."

"As creations of a higher being, they were forbidden to interfere with each other. But they worked together to protect the structure of the cube. The Creator tied the life of each God to their world so that if a God died, the world would be destroyed. Although powerful individuals and demigods would arise in each realm, none could surpass the power of these six facets of creation. With his magnum opus complete, the Creator relinquished his form and perished, leaving his body in the empty space at the center of the cube, also known as the Void World."

"But small pieces remained floating in the darkness. Those small pieces came back together after a long, long time... The god reformed, but it wasn't the same. Something else awakened in the darkness. It called itself Hitogami and claimed to be the Human God. The first Dragon God felt that something was wrong. But he couldn't exactly understand what Hitogami was doing..."

When Gilgamesh heard this, a sinister smile appeared on his face, and his aura changed completely; he was finally facing someone who knew that Human God to such an extent that it was unheard of to find such a person in the world today.

"No one could defeat him?" Roxy asked with a furrowed brow. If those gods, who were the heart of the other worlds, had died at his hands, that means perhaps no one could have faced him.

The old dragon shook his head and murmured, "He's hidden. I found many clues about his whereabouts, but it's still complicated to find him..."

Gilgamesh, more aware of the situation, asked, "So, what happened to the true Human God of this world?"

"It's unknown what happened to the Human God, but we can assume that he was killed like other True Gods as part of Hitogami's broader plans..." The old dragon said, but seeing Gilgamesh's even broader smile, he asked, "What's so amusing?"

Gilgamesh looked at the old dragon and said, "So, the Human God can be killed. I heard that the only way to defeat him is to seal him. But if a Human God was killed, that means by taking his authority, one can take the position of the Human God and thus prevent the destruction of this world."

The old Dragon seemed surprised and asked, "So, do you really want to kill him?"

"Oh, of course, he wanted to play with my pride and hasn't stopped trying to kill me over the years since I awakened the memories of my past life in another world and dimension... I shouldn't tell you this, but what I detest are gods with Hitogami's profile..."

"He's still doing it..." The old dragon said, "Throughout history, Hitogami creates conflicts between different factions, leading to widespread destruction and chaos. He whispers poisonous lies into the ears of the Dragon God and his five most powerful generals until their distrust and paranoia toward the other realms turned into open hostility."

"Then, did everyone come here after that conflict?" Eris's eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Hitogami deceived the Dragon God into launching a devastating attack on neighboring realms. Refugees fled to the human world, turning it into the main world." Looking deeply at Gilgamesh, the old dragon said, "He's doing the same in this world; he will use all realms to kill you and all your loved ones, regardless of whether it disrupts future plans."

There was a silence as the conversation focused on Gilgamesh. It was well known that the religion of Millis had been tainted, and a war against the Asura Kingdom might break out at any moment, with the goal of wiping it off the map.

But Gilgamesh wasn't worried. The time would come when he would erase the gods' footprint in this world, and he intended to accelerate the technological growth of this world.

"Perhaps that's his downfall..." The old dragon said after a while.

"Why do you say that?"

"It's quite simple... From killing other gods to influencing the actions of key individuals, Hitogami's sinister machinations have a significant impact on the ongoing future of this world," said the old dragon as he took a big sip of a golden liquid.

"He fears that some power from the future might kill him. That's why he tries to end your existence. This prophecy has led Hitogami to take desperate measures to avoid his predestined fate. He has gone so far as to try to eliminate your loved ones to erase the possibility of you becoming a major problem."

"If he knows, he must be someone powerful to figure out about the future, just like you, Gil," Eris said a bit more cautiously.

"But despite his extraordinary abilities, apparently, Hitogami remains a slave to the same fundamental will to survive that governs all living creatures, living with a sense of self."

"He uses his powers to alter the flow of time and influence events. In doing so, he creates alternative timelines in which he reigns supreme, increasing his control over people's lives in our realities. However, his foresight powers are limited. He can see fragments of what is to come, but the future remains unwritten," said the old dragon, looking deeply at Gilgamesh.

"He's truly just a representation of all the darkness within humans..." Gilgamesh, as if a father to humanity, said, "Man is human by nature; that means as much as the value of a human considered in his species, envy, selfishness, inherent evil, and love are some of the most dangerous poisons."

Gilgamesh pointed and continued, "I will save your daughter, but that might be limited to you telling me, how can I find the Human God?"
