Raymond walked towards the bed and sighed, looking down at Cyprian who was now asleep. Wasn't she the one who told him a few minutes ago that she was very energetic?

Resigning to fate, he helped her sleep straight on the bed and adjusted the duvet to cover her properly. When he was satisfied with her sleeping arrangement, he got into the bed and laid down beside her before texting Ruthlyn.

[We will get the dress tomorrow...By the way, you can come upstairs since it looks like nothing will be happening tonight.]

He punctuated his message with a crying emoji, which made Ruthlyn laugh when she saw it.

It was only two hours to midnight when Shikera finally sneaked out of her room after much deliberation. She knocked on Ethan's door, while applying little to no force to her hand, but he heard anyway.
