Bonfire.

Hazel stood there, rooted to one spot as she waited for Ethan to talk to her. But he didn't say anything and simply pierced her with his usual glare, probably because he didn't want to hang up on the call he was currently on.

In the meantime, Hazel used that opportunity to admire the face she had not seen for 20 years now and she was not dissapointed to see that Ethan was still so handsome, if not more than before.

'What's this if not fate? How can his face finally be exposed to me after he has been hiding it all this days?' she thought, smiling inwardly at herself.

Three minutes later, Ethan finally disconnected the call with his eyes still fixed on the person standing behind the couch. If he had not been talking to Shikera, his only hope of having at least an hour sleep that night, he would have hung up on the call immediately when this fool stood up from behind the chair.
