"Shit! Not seeing Ethan for a day has caused me to start daydreaming," she muttered. She slipped her hand into her back pocket and retrieved her handkerchief, using it to clean her eyes.

Her heart almost jumped out of her chest when she opened her eyes and saw Mignon's face right in front of hers.

"Grandma didn't tell me you were sick in the head, tsk tsk. Just follow me," she said, slipping her hand into Shikera's.

Shikera pulled her back, surprise evident in her eyes.
