Paradise.

"Okay, back to our earlier discussion. Do you think it matters that you behaved yourself when mommy was here? Of course not. How you behave when your mommy isn't here is what matters."

Esther frowned, "Isn't that a waste if I'm good when mummy isn't home? She can't see me then."

"That's true. She can't see you," Cyprian agreed with her, "But when she hears how her baby behaved well at home, she would be eager to come back. Don't you think?"

"That's true! So you think I should behave like a very good girl from this moment on and then mommy will come back earlier?" Esther asked, earnestly gazing at Cyprian.

"Exactly! You wanna start now with eating breakfast?"

"Yeah," Esther replied.

With a bright and approving smile which looked like they were plastered on her lips, Cyprian carried Esther's breakfast tray and dropped it on a stool beside the couch, while the latter went to take her seat on the couch.
